Cant figure out what’s causing this on the leaves

I originally thought my city water was too hard to use so I started my first grows buying jugs of spring water. It got expensive so I just gave the city water a try. It seems to work out. It’s pH’d at 7.5 out of the tap but I run a bunch into jugs and let it sit for a few days before watering...

Cant figure out what’s causing this on the leaves

I’m using ffof as well. With this soil, I’ve found I don’t need to feed at all during veg. My city water is pretty hard though. It has a lot of calcium and magnesium. I start feeding in week 3 of flowering. Your plants look great! Good luck the rest of the way.

Cant figure out what’s causing this on the leaves

I think it’s just overnuted. My leaves looked exactly the same around week 5 of flowering when I hit it with pk 13/14. I’ve been giving it plain water ever since and it started week 9 today. I just look at it like an extended flush. My buds are still growing so I’m not worried about it. Photo...

    Any help will help me

My tip would be to intentionally underwater in the early stages. The roots will grow deep looking for water. I only water the undersides of the leaves and give the soil a few sprays near the base during the first 2 weeks.

    Let's See Your Frostiest Flowers

I use 1 tablespoon of molasses per gallon of water. Put the molasses into a bowl with a little water and microwave it for 30 seconds so it can mix with the water. I feed the plants GH Flora Series nutes at 1/2 strength starting about a month into veg. So I nute, then 2-3 days later I use...

    Let's See Your Frostiest Flowers

Maybe I have been getting lucky, but I don’t water or feed to 20% runoff before the very end when I flush. My plants are in week 7 of flower and I usually give them a little over a gallon of water for a 5 gallon grow bag every 2-3 days, although it’s been more like 3-4 days lately because it’s...

First timer finally switched to flower

Nice setup! The drain is key. I always have to bring mine in the shower to water which is a pain. Plants look great!

    Lets see your garden!

Week 7 starts on Friday. My house has a very sweet smell from the molasses I gave these yesterday.

    First grow need help!!!!!!

Agree with Nate again about waiting to top until there are at least 4 nodes, unless it’s an auto, then don’t top. Grab a spray bottle and spray it with either plain water or add a little epsom salt. When you have a tiny plant in a big pot, getting the right amount of water to the roots can be...

New grower saying hi! Current grow!

I’m curious about the GH Flora series instructions you posted. I’m using the same nutes, or at least I think I am, but the measurements on my bottles are vastly different. Other than in the seedling stage, everything on my bottles shows full tsp numbers. For example, I’m in mid flower now and my...

    First grow need help!!!!!!

Probably just a little transplant shock. I agree with Nate. It may have been a little early for the transplant but it should be ok. It looks pretty healthy to me. During this stage, I like to foliar spray the underside of the leaves right at lights out.

    Lets see your garden!

The first 3 pics are the same plant (NL) at the end of 3, 4 & 5 weeks since change to 12/12. The 4th pic is also NL at the end of week 5 but I trimmed more branches and fan leaves in late veg/early flower on that one. Running an experiment to see how trimming affects yield. I’m holding...

Beginner here woke up to a droopy seedling HELP! Please

I tried pulling a shell off with a tweezers once and ripped the entire top off. However, it grew right back. I’m not saying do it, but I do know the end result was ok.

First time grow, are my auto seedlings doing okay?

The discoloring looks to be only on the cotyledon so I don’t think it’s a big deal. It could just be a splash from your nuted water.

First time grow, are my auto seedlings doing okay?

I have a similar light and was keeping it at about the same distance but I was seeing very slow growth. I put the light much closer to about 8-10” and had my fan blowing between the bottom of the light and the top of the plant to keep the heat away. That did the trick regarding slow growth. Not...

First Time grower- Autoflower follow along- Advice is much welcomed

Ok, yeah that’s good. I know some people shove them down 2-3” for some reason. That never made sense to me. I had a shell that was taking forever to fall of once it breached thru the soil so I took a tweezers and tried to help it but the cotyledon broke off. I thought I had killed it but it grew...

    does she look good?

I overwatered on my first few grows and ruined a bunch of plants. So I decided to intentionally underwater them after seeing a post from someone who said the roots will grow quicker if you underwater because they’re searching for water. It makes sense I guess. You’ll know you’re underwatering if...

Sorry about my last blank post. I hit Post by accident before typing anything. How far down did you put the seeds?
