Lets see your 2019 outdoor plants!

They both turned out pretty nice but I think after a long cure the sativa will come out on top. They're frostier for sure.

That's a wrap for this year. One more weekend of trimming all these lower branches, excited to weigh the cured product.

    Frozen buds

Hey buddy I was chopping in the rain today. Left the lower sativa as long as I could but I figured it's time to call it. Trichomes look decently cloudy. I've had no significant mold, rot or frost related issues so far. Few cuts here and there. So far I have 19 x 1L Mason jars either 2/3 or 3/4...

Lets see your 2019 outdoor plants!

Haha well I guess some people I know BS a bit because I hear them saying they can eyeball strains. I sure as hell can't! Come over to the Okanagan BC and I'll hit you up with some smoke 😁

Hopefully these finish up soon! Still haven't figured out what strain this is. Anyone have a guess?

Those are monsters! Nice work must be some good genetics, hard work and experience paying off. I'm going to put more effort into knowing the source of my seeds or clones next year for sure.

    Frozen buds

I know lots of growers here but you're the first from this forum. I'd be happy to meet and chat one day once the harvest is over and sample buds and chat ideas for next season

    Frozen buds

Yeah I only really smoke sativa so I figured it'd be worth it to try knowing it would be a close call for them to be ripe before frost like the other day forced a chop. Here's a cola from Oct 6. I think next weekend tops will be ready I hope!

    Frozen buds

Nice! Cheers to organics. I've only got two strains, one violator and the other three are the same sativa that I can't figure out what they are. I used a lot of dry amendments in a super soil and they've had some liquid seaweed and teas but I think what made these plants so hearty was planting...

    Frozen buds

I don't think under 32f/0c is really any threshold for plants being needing to be hashed instead of smoke unless it stays below freezing for a whole day. I know lots of successful growers in my area that constantly wait out first frost as long as the days are sunny. Is your experience otherwise?

    Frozen buds

Hey Chester, another Okanagan grower here. My plants also rebounded just fine. That cold snap was scary but luckily I didn't get any rot or mold. Warm weather is back so I hope to keep them out there a while longer First pic is 7am after the -5c, next is the following afternoon after some sun...

Lets see your 2019 outdoor plants!

Violator half done and hanging. Also defoliating heavy to prevent mold. The leaf blower comes out after every rain. Hopefully these sativa's can make it another 2 weeks 🤞 PS anyone know what strain these sativa's are? All three are the same but don't know what they are.

Thanks dirtbag! I will buck and manicure in 7-10 days hopefully it'll look close enough to the $35 stuff at the store. It's amazing how the legal stuff here in Canada is just barely decent and a first time grower can produce a similar end product lol. When I was in Washington the legal stuff...

Not sure if anyones still following this but I decided to chop half the Violator strain. Left the bottom to ripen till next weekend. Turned out nice, here is my first ever yield. Now drying in the shed which is maintaining temp okay. Dehumidifier on order as it does go up when space heater...

    Possible nutrient deficiency Mid Flower

Does anyone dry in a shed in colder temps? Mines water tight but not insulated.t will be high of 57f during day and low of 29f at night outside temps. I plan to use a 1500w ceramic heater with thermostat to keep temps up. Hopefully it can maintain 60f the majority of the time. It's 60% RH in...

    Opinions on my plant

I don't think your plant would like that temperature shock from a hair dryer. Leaf blower works great tho!

    Opinions on my plant

I also use a leaf blower after a heavy rain, works very well as long as your careful not to over do it. I stand back 5-10 ft and use the lowest speed setting. It also helps to show if you have any pests hiding.

    Possible nutrient deficiency Mid Flower

Hello everyone, Quick update here, it's been raining every other day so I have not watered/fed plants since giving tea to them 7 days ago. This Indica continues to yellow higher up the plant but buds are growing still but slowing down. They're also not super thirsty but that's likely due to...

This was taken at 7pm when there was still golden light out but the camera lens option blacked it out. Finally a sunny dry day here to clearly see the trichome development.
