    Are these Balls??? Help please.

Noooo! They are preflower calyxes not male. They are the first calyxes that pop at the internode and show sex, and they swell during flower.

    Starting Autos and Seamless Transitions

So I figured I'd post a simple technique that I use for starting seeds. Specifically autos, as transplanting slows growth and effectively shortens productive veg time. I start with 3" peat pots a garden spike or ground anchor, and your favorite starter potting soil. I help the peat pot break...

Harvest Day! Bouncing Baby Auto Beans!

The Moby auto x Haze auto is so nice!!! sooo frosty with a sweet sour patch kids smell. Plants are very well proportioned and consistent so far. Can't wait to dry and cure. Very promising so far. Hope this is the one. Growing out multiple auto strains is tough as they all like different things...

Harvest Day! Bouncing Baby Auto Beans!

For comparison this is a Lemon Haze auto that has been flowering for a very long time. My best guess is 6-7months as the Moby came about from pairing when the Lemon Haze auto was in Veg. Definitely need special attention beyond what I usually do. She got some bad juju (believe it or not fish...

Harvest Day! Bouncing Baby Auto Beans!

Best breeding I've done so far. Mobydick auto x Haze auto. Mobydick already has Haze in its genetics and am surprised it isn't pushing more to sativa structure.

Auto Breeding and the occasional photoperiod offspring

I moved these plants outdoors and are flowering in a traditional photo sense. I have others that went to flower like any other auto. I would say that this is recessive and less dominant though. Green House White Widow Auto x Stitches Love Potion Auto. Ibwould think this is along the Widow line...

Auto Breeding and the occasional photoperiod offspring

Good info. I've seen various influences. Some of the offspring need a little less light and will fully transition and others will go full auto or need a 12/12 to fully engage in flower. I guess the further along the breeding the more developed autos will be.

Auto Breeding and the occasional photoperiod offspring

As title says. Auto Breeding Photos. Not all auto breeding produces autos. As there are photoperiod and ruderalis genetics involved, all crosses with auto will not always produce auto flower plants. I haven't seen much discussion on this and have two specimens now that do not appear to flower...

Identifying male flowers in your garden

Most show preflower if you are looking. Regardless of light cycle and in veg. Once put in a flowering light cycle the flowers ripen. Unless the pollens sac grew into a segmented pod and opened or flowered, it's uikely to have released any pollen and fertilized female flowers. Hermaphrodite would...

Identifying male flowers in your garden

I continue to see posts about identifying males. This is when in am confident and chuck the males. This 1-2 weeks after identifying a male in preflower. Once you hit between 6-8 sets in veg., most plants will show preflower. A single hair from a small growth at intersect of 6-8 node or a spade...

Why the trend to tell beginners to grow autoflowers?

So maybe I'll be bit better to converse with on the subject. No BS , I started my first grow in 94 and for the past 4 years have grown exclusively autos until i had room again for photos last year. All plants and genetics have outliers. I have had several plants you call runtz :) , but can...

Lack of trichomes on my autos??

Totally agree. Although I've had some some that were not as pretty, but had a great stone. While I've also had some real duds The plants in the photos posted still seem pretty early, the pistols are all still white. A lot of plants don't start packing trichomes until the pistols start turning.

    Issues with DNA Genetics Seeds

I'll keep trying to pop what I have , but won't buy anything new from them. Wish I would have gotten from them a few years ago. Ultimately have strainsnto hopefully breed something close to Martian Mean Green. Mobydick is somewhat comparable in lineage also.
