To cut or not cut, that is the question

Fair enough. Thanks for replying. Guess I will try to keep cutting her pollen sacks and try to harvest 1 or 2 weeks early. One (four lol) last question tho, were there other plants with the Gelato? Did they get pollinated? If they did, were their yield lower than average? And was the yield of...

To cut or not cut, that is the question

Well, I did say "weight of dry buds", but I got what you meant. I have seen about 6 pollen sacks and removed all of them. Do you have any experience with hermies to tell me if it is possible to just keep cutting them off? Or do they grow extremely fast overnight? I can't find on the web any info...

To cut or not cut, that is the question

Seeds are not really a problem. I am more worried about whether if I remove the hermie, the yield will overall will be higher or not. Basically is a question of how much less a pollinated plants yields and if it worth keeping the hermie or not so at the end I have more weight of dry buds.

To cut or not cut, that is the question

One of the plants has no pistils out yet, it is just now getting out of pre flower. If the entire grow is pollinated, what would be the reason to remove the hermi?

To cut or not cut, that is the question

Before anyone asks. I did look over all the hermie plant and cut every pollen sack.

To cut or not cut, that is the question

I am growing 4 plants (2 into 5 weeks of flower, 1 into 3 weeks and the other into 2 weeks). I noticed some brown pistils in the 3 weeks one and since it is a sign of pollination, tried to find a hermie... And a hermie I found. Is it the best option to cut it if I am aiming for the highest...

Anyone has any idea what this might be? Leafs turning brown

Just realized I missed some details. The plants are on 11L pots and I water about every 3-4 days using nutes at 75% recommended dose.

Anyone has any idea what this might be? Leafs turning brown

Thanks for the reply. There is about a 10% runoff when I water them. The medium is about 85% coco and 15% perlite. I did flush them before turning to flower, so I was a it skeptil in thinking they were overfed. I will give them flush them again, I guess. I do not have a ppm/ec meter atm.

Anyone has any idea what this might be? Leafs turning brown

They are grown in coco and I have been watering them with water pH 5.8-6.3. The nutrients that I have been using are the Tripart GHE nutrients at about 75% the recommended dose. I did suffered from a thrips infestation, but I already solved it. I honestly have no idea what is this. Any insights...

How bad is my thrips case?

Not even joking, Portugal just doesn't have Spinosad. At least not some I can buy quickly. I found it online, but it would take 3 days to deliver.

How bad is my thrips case?

That is what I intend to do. I just hope that I can get a good harvest out of this somehow.

How bad is my thrips case?

Do you have any experience with Pyrethrins? I am searching for Spinosad in every grow store or garden store in my city and just can't find it.

How bad is my thrips case?

@Anthem seems like my growshop doesn't have Spinosad, would Pyrethrins be okay or is there some reason on why I should try to find Spinosad specifically?

How bad is my thrips case?

Fuck, is seems like my case is that bad... As soon as my grow shop opens, I will be there. Another concern I have is with the silvery "thingy" that thrips leave on the leafs. How do I clean it? I read it can cause fungus

How bad is my thrips case?

Thanks for the tip, I will try to find Spinosad. I am mostly concerned at how much will my yield be affected. I have not idea if the damage my plants sustained are to the point of making it impossible to have a good yield and hard nugs. I know this might be really subjective, but if I were to...

How bad is my thrips case?

I have not defoliate them yet, but intend to do so. I will be buying some ladybug and sticky traps the first thing in the morning. Do you have any idea if thrips affect the yield a lot?
