Water naturally has calcium and other various nutrients for your plant . Reverse osmosis does not ( distilled water ) Or atleast im fairly sure that’s what’s going on. Your plant is missing cal mag basically .

If you can , to really put the nail in the coffin . Before starting your grow , put a space heater in there and try to get it over 100 f for about an hour . Heat will kill them. Can’t hurt .

Whats the status on that plant you suspect to have tmv? I had a plant that showed the same exact twisting and yellow discoloring and it turned out to be broad mites. I hear tmv is incredibly rare.. which is why I ask your status on it . Good luck with grow looks great !
