yes but a good flip box is almost half the price of another set of ballasts. I figured it was worth the extra cash for piece of mind. Im getting a decent deal on some A.C.E ballasts...

I just checked and each 1k draws 4.6 amps

They are 1000watt Hids. I was under the impression 1000 watts draws 9 amps @120v and 4.5 amps @ 240v

I was factoring 32 x 4.5 amps @240v = 144 amps

Current cultures verticle system comes with 40" centers and they reccomend 600watt ballasts. They say to do 50"centers if using 1000watters. What did you use here jack?

Im not sure if it is 10 or 12. It doesn't say on the wire itself. Is there a way of determining that? The breaker is two 30s attached to eachother.
