I run an iL8x in my 4x4. I can say from personal experience it runs amazing, and has given me the best results out of working with mars and spider farmer. Definitely worth checking out, I think they are running cheap on amazon right now

Iluminar Lighting does a single-bar style light, I think about 80 watts output, those could do you a solid job. The only other option I know that could help you are some t5's but their fluorescent and get a little hot running long times.

I would say the iL8x is also a really good option. I used to run a SpiderFarmer light but wasn't satisfied with its results. Upgraded and I'm more than happy now. But the 1700e from Gavita and 650R from HLG are amazing options as well

Between the two you suggested, I would go fopr HLG. More reputable brand and their stuff is good quality. I would also encourage you to check out either the iL8x or the 9x from Iluminar. I run the iL8x but because its the only one I could afford! lol. High specs and no as pricey as better known...

Ive been running with the iL8x from Iluminar, but their il9x looks like its a beast light. Amazing for veg and flower and a friend of mine that runs it says it produces big dense buds. 1000W perfect for a 5x5!. On the expensive side but worth every penny in my opinion

I think you could also check out Iluminar il5x. Its 330W, I ordered it for myself last week! Its dimmable in any case that your plants do start stressin out over too much light. It should arrive in 3 days for me

I used to run CMH as well before saving money and changing to LEDs. I had a doubleended 630W CMH from Iluminar Lighting which if I remember correctly was around 350$. It ran very well and for the almost 2 years that I used it, it was very consistent on highly dende yields
