Best Strains You’ve Grown And Most Trusted Breeders?

I agree with Old Man, I really trust Nirvana. I had to reach out to their customers service a couple times and they take great care of me. I have grown quite a few of their strains and I have never had any issues with the seeds germination, there genetics have always been stable. They are top...

New and could use advice please.

You look like you have everything under control! Great job! I am not a big fan of plastic buckets and I would say you should look into cloth pots for future grows but your plants look great! I wish my first grow looked like that! Lol

New old guy with a question....

Hi Bobby, that is an auto flower that is starting to flower. Imo your issues are most likely from ph fluctuations. You should be between 5.5 and 6.2 for your ph and since you are starting to show signs of calyx development you should back off of the nitrogen. Northern Lights is a pretty...

    Are these pistils? Picture attached.

It is really early but those hairs definitely look to be the early formation of calyxes. It would be so early in flowering that it should go right back into vegging pretty easily. Imo

    Should I add cal-mag or not ?

I always include cal mag to my feeding regiment. Cal mag is important for proper leaf development. Happy frog is a great soil but I do start adding nutrients in very small amounts when I see the first set of leaves form and then slowly increase my amounts.

Trying to set up for successful 1st grow

Sounds like you have a great setup! Make sure you have a small fan to move air around and I use an extraction fan and carbon filter to keep from stinking my whole house up. Make sure you have good nutrients (I use fox farm) and cal mag! Good luck to you!

Little advice/help needed for a newbie

I say grow it to completion! Hell, the worst thing that can happen is you get some experience! Growing is addictive and it sounds like you have been bitten so you have more to gain than lose. While this plant grows you can order seeds for a reputable site so you will have quality genetics for...

Checking the ph is one of the most important things in growing! You can buy a ph meter for under 20 bucks so considering how much you save by growing your own its a great deal!

    New here, please help!?!

Plastic buckets trap moisture a can really cause you lots of problems. I don't think that is your immediate issue though, are you using a ph meter? When your ph is off it will lead to a ton of problems. You can get a ph meter for around 30 bucks and it will make your growing go a lot smoothly...
