Devastated and Depressed from Storm Damage

A storm destroyed my huge Durban Poison. Just 4 weeks into flower and the buds were already packing on the weight. The pistils are still white, can anything be done with immature buds, or are they destined to the compost? This was my first outdoor grow in a 25 gallon pot.

    Yellowing Leaves on Durban Poison

I actually saw the Leafs win the cup when I was 6 years old. All I remember is my parents and grandparents screaming. It would be nice to see it now! With the Gaia Green organic fertilizer, the results take time to appear. On my indoor grows I use a synthetic fertilizer and the results appear...

    Yellowing Leaves on Durban Poison

I've lived here for over 60 years and have been many places, but still love Toronto. My children might be forced to leave some day because the housing market has gone crazy, unless they want to live in a condo the size of a shoebox.

    Yellowing Leaves on Durban Poison

I have 25 gallons of soil in each pot. When I water 5 gallons each, I don't even get run-off. In 2 days in this sun and heat, the pots are light and the leaves are drooping.

    Yellowing Leaves on Durban Poison

My outdoor Durban Poison has just started to show signs of pre-flower, and I've noticed that every day I'm pulling off yellowing leaves. The 2 plants are in 25 gallon pots, with Promix Organic soil. I've been feeding the plants Gaia Green Worm Castings, All Purpose, and Power Bloom. The plants...

Is this the harmful Spider Mite???

It looks like a typical spider, not the mite type of body. It's larger than what I imagine a mite to be.

Is this the harmful Spider Mite???

I saw this spider on my outdoor Durban Poison, wondering if it's a pest or beneficial predatory type?

Putting indoor plants outside for the day

When I first started growing and my new lights hadn't arrived yet, I decided to put the plants outside during the day. It only took a few days and I ended up introducing pests into my tent. Going forward, what's outside stays outside.

    Friend or Foe Outdoor Grow

My first time growing outdoors, I noticed this insect on my Durban Poison in Ontario Canada. Any ideas identifying it, and if necessary, how to control them? Thanks!

Curling Leaves and Rusty Brown Spots

My 3 week old Durban Poison, grown from feminized seeds has suddenly started displaying curled leaves and rusty brown spots. They are planted temporarily in 3 gallon fabric pots, previously in solo cups. The soil is Pro-Mix Organic potting soil. It does have a slow release organic fertilizer. I...

Short Bushy Gelato 55% Indica, 45% Sativa, 5 Weeks Old

One of my Gelato photo feminized plants is into week 5 and is short, bushy, compact, compared to the other one. I can't get in to top it. It reminds me of spinach. Is this just luck of the draw genetics?

Spots on 2 week old seedling

I transplanted the plant a week ago from a solo cup into a 7 gallon fabric pot containing Promix HP. I have just watered lightly around the perimeter of the plant approximately every 3 days with bottled water for now. The temperature is 80F and humidity 55%. The LED lighting is 30 inches above...

Spots on 2 week old seedling

I posted a better photo. The leaves that had brown spots are now turning yellow with some signs of yellowing are on younger leaves. I haven’t started feeding the plant yet, it’s 3 weeks old. I have another same strain plant beside it without these issues, but this one is growing quicker than...

Spots on 2 week old seedling

It’s not the greatest photo, but you can make out the brownish spots on this 2 week old Gelato strain. I never had this appear on my last Gelato grow. Any ideas? Thanks!

Days away from Harvesting my first Grow

I'm days away from harvesting my first grow. I have flushed a few days ago. I hear some will give 48 hours of total darkness before cutting the plants down. If killing the lights for the 48 hours, do you do it with the soil dry or watered? Thanks!!!

    Pro-Mix Potting Soil and Nutrients

I'm using the non digital method of checking ph, collecting a sample of water in a vial and adding a few drops of a ph testing solution. My job involves testing the municipal water supply, and I know that our water has a ph of 7 which matches the results of my test kit.

    Pro-Mix Potting Soil and Nutrients

I have my 2 plants in 5 gallon pots with Pro-Mix Potting soil. The bag of Prom-Mix mentions that there is fertilizer already in the soil good for 9 months. My plants appear to be growing well, and at week 4 I decided to feed them 5ml of Reefertilizer Grow per 4 litres of tap water. The ph of the...

    New leaves have yellowing edges

I noticed this morning that some new leaves are yellowing on the outer edges, the older leaves are not. Would this be a light burn or a nutrient deficiency? Thanks!
