    10kw second coco run

My last run, Didn't turn out as well as I would have liked 1.2 lb/1000w. Down from 1.7lb/1000w in soil. I was running AN sensi , calmag , rhino skin, big bud, carbo load. Feeding every day at a ec of 1.0 . Ended up with a major claw going on and very small buds for the size of the plants. When...

    BUD BLOOD & verticle growth

I haven't tried bud blood in a mpb system. But I recently tried it on a normal system, it pretty much stopped the vertical growth right where it was at. It also cut 1.5 weeks off the flower time. But i've also heard bud bloods effects are not the same on all strains. I was using Sensi's...

    What is this bug?

I haven't seen them inside the plants at all, just on the ground underneath. Seems they like the runoff coming out from the plants.

    What is this bug?

I've been having a mag def that I just can't seem to beat. So I was looking for some root aphids that might be causing the problem. Under a pot I've found a large amount of these little buggers. They range from microscopic to 1-2 mm. They move quite fast in darting motions. But from the pictures...

    First mpb setup 9.5' x 24' room

Just installed one 2 ton napolean split ac unit. I got two units for $3200 taxes in. I've only installed one for the time being to see how it works out. Wasn' t that bad to install. The outdoor unit came pre-charged for the length of copper pipe that was included. I borrowed a vacuum pump from...

Blue-ish / Purple-ing of leave tips and downward curling - White Russian - CFL

Correct me if i'm wrong but your waiting until the plant wilts or yellows before watering?? When the plant wilts from lack of water your damaging roots. You have to consider the time it will take for these to recover. I would say at least a month, so if your time pressed for some smoke...

    Purple stems

yes if its not a dark purple and lots of it and the plants are growing fast i wouldn't worry about it.

Flood and drain buckets and sensi issues

Well h202 did me in, the root rot is back with a vengence and its 100x as bad. The h202 seemed to clear it up for a couple days but now its worse then ever. I double checked the flooding water temp and its 70.9. I got the room temp and water temp under control and it still did not help the...

Blue-ish / Purple-ing of leave tips and downward curling - White Russian - CFL

How much are you feeding them? definitely looks like lockout to me with those dark purple stems. Lockout will keep nutrients from reaching leaves causing them to be deficient. So they look exactly like the textbook deficiencies because they are. Quickest way I've found to bring something...

Flood and drain buckets and sensi issues

My air pumps have 12 outputs , each has a valve to regulate the air pressure. I have the air stones set to give a gentle bubble of air. So it should be ok. I'm now getting alot of new light green growth so i'm upping the ppm to around 600 of just straight sensi grow a & b. It seems they are...

Flood and drain buckets and sensi issues

rez was 22 today and pots were 22.6. My Ac is cooling things down a bit. I'm also getting a much much larger a/c system next week 4 ton unit. I'm hoping I can get away without a chiller for now. *crosses fingers* they were much more expensive then I expected. If I could afford one I would, but I...

Flood and drain buckets and sensi issues

Yes i'm going to have to get a chiller i guess. I need one now though and not later. I highly doubt I can get one locally. The only thing i'm worried about is forking out the money for a chiller and still end up not being able to defeat this rot and tossing these in soil. My buckets today...

Flood and drain buckets and sensi issues

Even if I get a chiller the water left in the bottom of each bucket will still rise in temp. Not sure how to get rid of the inch or so left. I tossed a few air stones in the bottom of a few buckets to see if it helps. But that kind of defeats the purpose of flood and drain. A issue i'm...

Flood and drain buckets and sensi issues

I checked the water temp during a flood and it was 75. The rez was 71 just before the flood. So mixing with the inch or so in the bottom of the buckets really boosted the temp. So I added a A/C to the room, the temp in the room is now 74 last time I checked. It was 82 before I added it. So i'm...

Flood and drain buckets and sensi issues

The roots for the most part aren't even long enough to hit the little bit of water thats left in each bucket. I have a couple air stones in my rez.

Flood and drain buckets and sensi issues

After digging around the roots of every plant it seems as I do in fact have a root rot. Brown roots pull apart very easily and have a strong "potatoe" smell. I'm hoping since this hasn't drastically taken out all root growth I might have a chance to save this. I know worst case I can transfer...

Flood and drain buckets and sensi issues

Just found some slimy roots on one plant. I think i'm going to add some h202. If its 30% 2ml per Gal??

Flood and drain buckets and sensi issues

Yes it is a pita to tell the color sometimes. But from comparing the colors to my hanna meter i can pretty much tell how close I am. I will borrow a friends ph meter tmrw to double check just to be sure.

Flood and drain buckets and sensi issues

lol, yes my hanna meter's ph probe died on me and i'm waiting for another in the mail. So yes i'm using a fuckin test kit. I've used them on side of my hanna meter before and they are pretty darn close.
