Thank you for the reply and information. I thought it was pretty cool and that this was the place to find out what the heck it was. Thanks again!

    Sport Hunting

I hope this thread is still up for some sport...I have a new one this year...have never seen this before. It is a Sin City Sin Mint from seed that I had bought about 3 years ago. She is growing in a big smarty in the greenhouse and is a beautiful plant...BUT...I have 3 different terminal end...

    Topping Outdoor Plants

In keeping with Nog...outdoor colas as big as your head are quite susceptible to not only mold but detecting any sort of burrowing little critters. They all need trimming and breaking down in the end as well. Light penetration is still a consideration when growing trees and techniques like...

    Sport Hunting

Very interesting thread....I have checked in and out a few times over the season and intended to post this earlier...I don't know if you are still looking at mutations, but I had came across this one in my garden back in July. I have never seen anything like this before. It is from a plant I was...

    Budworms...ugh!

Yeah buddy...I was up late with that chart! If nothing else it has opened my eyes further to how much there is to learn this winter! Very fortunately it's still going to be a good year, for us on the Farm. Yet, I already see so many opportunities to make things better, easier, and more efficient...

    Budworms...ugh!

Hey Sea...Thanks for the reply...the most I can find on Dipel is...that it has the lowest PHI (per harvest interval) allowed by law. Apparently each state has different intervals but the label states up to harvest. I am not growing fruit but it is something I will ingest. I am confident that as...

    Budworms...ugh!

I had been mixing the sprayer with about 60 grams of Dipel for almost 25 gallons up until last night. I went to 120. I also mix in Actinovate. I had a friend do the weight/acre calculations for suing my sprayer...as that is surely not my strong suit! Just finished blowing the dew off them this...

    Budworms...ugh!

Wow...first let me thank ALL of you for responding. I believe you all are giving me your best advice. Ok...I know rapeseed oil is basically canola oil. I don't see caterpillars or budworms listed here, but I will be doing more research on it tonight. Thanks. The employees at Arbico in Tucson...

    Budworms...ugh!

Ok...the moths I've seen around here are not like the moth shown in this article...but the little worms sure a hell are! And yes now that I have actually found some and seen the damage, how can you get rid of them? I know the BT has kept the population reduced and it could be worse, but this sucks.

    Budworms...ugh!

OK...so I started the Dipel about the end of July at a 2 week interval. I could also see A LOT of the white moths with 2 spots on their wings flying around the vegetable and medi garden. I had researched and found out they are "white satin" moths....more like SATAN! So at the end of August I...

    Norcal Outdoor Garden Of Eden

All I can tell you for sure at this point is it is some sort of caterpillar...I kept putting the cut pieces of trellis with the eggs on them in a one gallon mason jar and some finally hatched...I will start a thread elsewhere in the next day or two to show that. I have a friend 30 miles away...

    Norcal Outdoor Garden Of Eden

First...Blessings to those who have had to deal with the fires of this year. I have been fortunate here in OR, but have friends north and south who haven't. Positive Vibes. Here is a pic of what I have been fighting up here. They have been laying on my Vine Lines at an unprecedented rate. I cut...

    Norcal Outdoor Garden Of Eden

Hey Bulldog...I came across this thread while looking for a possible solution to my watering/irrigation challenges. I can soooooo relate to being focused on infrastructure and not my girls! I feel like I am being too reactive because for the time it takes just to complete the daily/weekly...

Need Recipe For Good Compost Tea

I am a firm believer of AACT for both drenching and foliar applications...(building my Vortex next week) but, I'm more of a teach a man to fish kind of guy...so here is a good link that will help you understand your recipe and be able to adjust it as your ladies, or you, so desire...

Some Flowering At Transition To Outdoors...ugh!

Thanks for asking...I was gifted some seed starts from some new friends and neighbors so I pulled all the pre-flowered girls and am replacing(ed). We had a storm whip through on Monday night that could have been real bad. Hail and winds. Luckily I came through pretty much intact. Here's what I...

Some Flowering At Transition To Outdoors...ugh!

Wow...it is never my intent to harm anyone much less kill someone! LOL! Thank you! and yes I am very fortunate. I lost my business last year and left the desert for greener pastures. Now I walk to work, put in the ear buds, light up that spliff, and drift away. I had been indoors for sooooo...
