I am running dwc system. (edit) it is pretty small garden. 6 plants in 5 gallon buckets I was told that ice packs in my buckets could freeze my roots and could kill my girls

So my set up is doing well but I checked my water temp today and it was Luke warm and def warmer than I know it should be. I was told to buy a water chiller but am not sure how this will cost or where to get one or how it works? Any othe options or any help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance

I use hydroton and I have not top fed at all. The roots feel the moisture from the bubbles from the airstone and grow to the water. I was told that the plant will not grow as fast if u make it to easy on the plant. I'm having that problem this time to. Made water level too high in buckets...
