Heat, heat and some more heat

That's what ive done about a month ago, thanks anyway. But still got too much heat stacked, My blowers just won't do the job.. it's too damn hot outside, AC is not an option neither as extra blowers - the adding of more noisy sounds could rise suspicions. Theoretically, could my idea work?

Heat, heat and some more heat

Sorry i'm posting in an old thread, and it's just because my main issue with heat is threatening to demolish my poor lady's. So i came across an interesting idea, but thought i'd better ask for advice before doing something silly : how about i'll take a second hand mini-bar, the size of a...

Heat, heat and some more heat

moving it into the house is impossible due to lack of space, an AC is way out of my budget - there's already two of them working inside my house when it's warm. the heat stress lasted for 2 days and it'll come back with fury in the next few weeks for sure.

Heat, heat and some more heat

Alright, thanks for the info. What do you think is best - cancel the lights off-timer so it'll go straight all night, wait till the temps rise (at about 11 am) then set it to new configuration, or, continue with current light regime (go off at 3-10 am) then turn it off again at 11:00 for 6 hours..

Heat, heat and some more heat

the blowers are 150 CMH each (Venta in+blower+carbon filter), and the temp that day was around 95 F.. (the cabin is in a shed), it's a bare bulb. also a 45w cool white fluorescent that reduces almost no heat.

Heat, heat and some more heat

My initial mistake was buying the basic blower which i thought would handle the 250w bulb.. but then - surprise.. the first hot day of the season and all my plants dropped shriveled. The lights go off for 6 hours between 3 to 9 AM, will it not confuse the plant to reset them to shut off during...

Heat, heat and some more heat

Hi all i'm heaving real heat stress issues in my 4X2.5X5 cabin, and the outside temps are on the rise.. I thought that maybe tucking a big ice block into the pod during the rush hours would cool things down, but im worried about the humidity getting high. the outsideיhumidity level in here is...

Arjan's ultra haze #2 LST topping

actually this sketch looks exactly like the plants i topped - the 5th set of new leafs was removed, and all that was left on the top of the plant were those 2 main fan leafs, giving the end of the plant a "V" shape. the growth that was suppose to follow the first topping never happened. if...

Arjan's ultra haze #2 LST topping

I followed the advice and kept the fan leafs on.. veg week 7 > My plants are really taking off and i attached all of the main branches with zipties to my scrog net today. The thing is, in one plant the fan leafs are still lush while in the other they look alot more tired - they are yellow...

Arjan's ultra haze #2 LST topping

Hi all! I have 2 plants (6 weeks old) and i topped them about a month ago (followed LBH 4 way tutorial), but the new growth never arrived.. except for a few tiny leafs in one plant. instead i was left with 2 big fan leaves on the top of the plants (which i tied down with a string and flattened...

bright yellow lines on lower leafs (+picture)

thanks, it's now make sense. i'll defiantly try to get a tester (though it'll surely raise some eyebrowses..lol) so ph should be raised gradually (within the right range) as the plant grow and flower? another thing.. my 2 'arjans haze's i topped with scissors didn't form new growth,and...

bright yellow lines on lower leafs (+picture)

ferts were about 0.7 biogrow+bioheaven \ltr each. i can see that the new growth looks healthy and don't carry the symptoms of the lower leaves. you were saying that the twisted leaves are resolt from unbalanced PH, is it a symptom of high or low levels? i'm kind of remote and can't get a ph...

bright yellow lines on lower leafs (+picture)

just realized i accidentally wrote the nutes dosage of my 2.5 weeks older plant, sorry for that. the actual dosage is about half of what i wrote (less then 1 mg\ltr) anyway here's some more photos. added photos of my other plant (arjans super haze #2 - the last 2 pics) that has some red...

bright yellow lines on lower leafs (+picture)

hi all one of my plants has those bright lines, on the top of it's lower leafs.. other leafs are lush green. someone told me it could be zinc deficiency, but he never saw the plant. thanks in advance, apologies for the crappy picture! p.s - all leafs are green except the one marked in...

    Choosing the righd LED

Well Lost, i took your advice got myself an HPS and will move my plants under it in two days. It just seems too early to buy the leds, and im sure that giving it an year to develop probably will be the right thing to do, unless you wanna go pioneering around. thanks for the tip's and all...

    Choosing the righd LED

i've been following Dunits' post "Brainstorm under 357 Magnum LED's", his LED look's awesome having 3w lights while the ISIS combines both 1w and 3w - which seem's kinda lagged in progress.. though he recommend using the ISIS for short plants (like i plan on having). someone familiar with...

    Brainstorm under 357 Magnum LED's

Wow dude, lovely. it made me fool for leds. I'm now seedling some sativa's, thinking about getting one of them lights.. it was written somewhere that the Mag is better for taller plants and that if one wanted to go ScrOG'ing the ISIS would be better, since the Mag will bleach them. what do you...
