that just uses a 14mm dome top instead of the 18mm if your worried about that I would get another curve. curves are angled more so you can see them from that angle.

As HMK said domes arn't very good for keeping claim out of the body of a piece. but your referencing the inside of the dome which will claim up over time no matter what. but I have also noticed that if your vaping off too cold of a nail it will cause the claim to build faster in the dome.

its true those are very expensive rare peices. best bet is a 10mm to 14mm adapter getting made so you can fit it in 14mm pieces.

they take longer to heat up but retain heat longer and give bigger hits than glass. I like quartz nails just fine though they just lose heat faster. glass works just fine too but will break after a couple weeks of heavy use.
