LMFAO....... I'm an inexperienced grower because I just joined this forum??? Still do not SEE any proof other than a guy which is flapping his gums (or should I say girl, cause you're acting like a little girl that got her feelings hurt)... Get a grip Mr. Denver... Good grief... LOL...

    Advice needed on lighting

What their site says they're really a UK company which has branched into the US... So I could be wrong, most likely UK made and shipped to US distributors.. Well I have a lumatek that's going on 4yrs now.. Suggest them often and never got any "It's a piece of crap" from anyone which bought...

    Advice needed on lighting

LMFAO.... Really??? I've had the so called "Digital Greenhouse" (HTG Brand) opened up before, it's manufactured in China, imported, and then re-branded!!! So you would rather spend MORE MONEY getting a CHEAPER MADE ballast and CHEAP hood, over SAVING money on a name brand Lumatek (a USA...

    4x8 tent 1200w= 1gpw.... what will 1800 or 2000w upgrade do?

Sounds nice... But personally I would have not went end to end.. I would have went with side by side... You'll get better light coverage that way... But 56.25w per sq is a lot better than 37.5w per sq.... Doing SOG, I would try my best to get that tent to 75 watts per sq. You'll get...

    Portable A/C question

If you're talking water condensation, pushing or pulling, to me it's going to go through that cool tube.... The blower is not going to remove the water, if we're talking enough water condensation to ruin the bulb... Personally, I'd rather not BLOW the condensation into the lamp and at the...

    Advice needed on lighting

Ya, cooling and light containment is both going to be a bitch... But you do not want to go pumping out smell into the building... One smell from a neighbor and they will come hunting... Really with the 250w in a 2x2, you're pushing 62.5w per sq ft... That's little difference than the 3x3...

    4x8 tent 1200w= 1gpw.... what will 1800 or 2000w upgrade do?

Well it has been proven in many grows studies (including my own personal ones) that the more light you can supply to the plants the faster they will grow, larger buds you will get (strain dependent of course), thus higher yields.. Personally I always try and shoot for at least 65w per sq ft...

    Portable A/C question

Ya, I have read that as well... That's why I have always put the blower AFTER the lamp and heat exchanger.. This way you're not cooling the bulbs, you're cooling the heat put off from the bulbs before passing it into the chamber or the room which houses the chamber. IMO by putting the...

    Advice needed on lighting

Shoot, HTG is WAY high on prices!!! I always have used The Hydro Source (www.thehydrosource.com), great prices and outstanding customer service! You can get a 250w - HPS - Hydrolux 6" Cool Tube with a Lumatek ballast for $205!! Personally I have always suggested getting a good name...

The 3hp ChillKing comes with a 16 gallon stainless steel reservoir and 1/2 HP Flotec pump... So no need for additional reservoir or pump... ;)

Would like your opinion on a 3 ton chiller

Personally I have setup a few of the chillers and heat exchanger systems and IMO they are GREAT... Also, just a little tip, there is one which I setup that the user was having to warranty his heat exchangers due to small leaks, so when he contacted the manufacture they told him to run more of...

    Portable A/C question

thehydrosource.com beats everyone's prices HANDS DOWN... They charge $16 flat shipping no matter how big your order is.. Great customer support... Then if you find a better price on something, they have a "price match" button, so they will match the price on something which you can get a...

Well I have used frozen water bottles in the res and works great for a few degrees on the hot days... Not sure about using then freeze packs... I always thought that if the water bottle broke the worst could happen with the water bottles, you get a little top off... But 72 is not too...

    Portable A/C question

Wow, that image shows the blower creating positive pressure, on the front side of the hood.. I always setup my blowers so it's on the other side of the heat exchanger, creating negative pressure... :wondering

    Portable A/C question

Well the chiller is hooked into say a 50gal reservoir which chills that water... So 50gal reservoir has a pump that runs the water through the Heat Exchangers (ob the output side of the cool hood), through the chiller (to be chilled down again) and back to the res... You can also use Heat...

    Grow room a/c advice

IMO no, not stupid at all... It will cool the room quicker and thus not run as long, therefore saving electric in the long run.... Maybe not a HUGE savings because it takes more electric to run that 4 ton as opposed to a 1-1/2 or 2 ton... But again IMO it would save somewhat overall..

CAP Ebb & Gro: Anyone using this system?

Ya, I too use the Ebb & Gro site systems.. GREAT SYSTEM IMO... Matter fact, I have a couple DIY Ebb & Gro sites setup in a 3x3 tent scrog I posted in the Grow Diaries, if I can ever get the post approved so you can see it... LOL But I have always suggest the 3-1/2gal buckets just because...

    C02 c02

Yes I agree... Normal atmosphere is around 300-400ppm.. Yes the chamber can become depleted to a point, but 170ppm, I'm thinking no.. Now if your Co2 reader is broke and reading the incorrect ppm, then you're really dumping in say up most of 2000ppm, then yes that can slow growth.. The...

First DWC grow- Expert advice needed please.

Wow, a LOT of questions, but let me see if I can shed some light on them for you.. IMO, that is an over kill... I have always taken the clones, dug a hole in the hydroton and gently covered the roots and base of the stem... I have never noticed any shock to my clones.. Yes, but maybe not...
