Hey Grower, what up.
Again, thanks so much for answering all my q's. This is a big transition for me and I want to get it right the first time.
I've got my hana ph/ec combo meter all set to measure my leachate. And yes, those were the same targets I was shooting for; rez ec < 2.0 and ppm...

Dude. Much thanks for all the pics you posted. A picture is worth a thousand words. Can't wait to get this thing started. Just waiting for this last run on hydroton to be OVER already. So over washing that crap every turn.
How many cycles do you do with your coco media?
Also do you...

Forgot to ask you about pumps....... If I model your set up with the 3/4" main to 1/2" risers to octo's to drip stakes what size pump do I need? Submersible or inline?
Would be cool to have a pump with pressure switch to solenoid valve.......that seems a bit much for my small scale deal...
Grower, last Q I promise LOL!. What size tables you running in flower room and how many plants/table? Pot size?

Thanks for the info on the drippers. I'm a long time ebb and flow guy on hydroton and looking to try my hand @ coco coir. Ive read that recirculating on coco is not advised due to lack of leachate and build up of salts. So, im crossing over to drain to waste for first time. What...
Much thanks for all the reply's gang. I've been getting hung up something I read in The Indoor Gardner's Bible by George Van Patten. Great book and he seems really knowledgeable. He claims that you need to purge out 'stale' air. Not sure I'm convinced since I'm creating optimal levels and...

Thanks for the reply. I was afraid that it was going to come down to finding a professional. Security is a high priority to me and I have no amigos in the hvac biz.
So I guess my two options at this point are throw the dice and hope I get a solid honest hvac tech or scrap the whole...
Just got my 27,ooo BTU mitsubishi mr. slim minisplit.
I have zero hvac experience and don't know how to pressure or purge the system before use. Any one do it themselves. What is the name of the tool/meter i need to get my system going.
I'm sooo f'ing anxious to get this thing going!!!!!
I have a 10x10x8 room that had passive air intake and now I'm switching to complely sealed environment.
I plan on keeping my room exhaust which is hooked up to a carbon filter so I can purge out air durning the dark cycle.
4K light is air cooled. Room is AC cooled via minisplit. Gas line...
