    3'X4' flowering room. few questions

I did a quick lumens per Sq ft. calculations and you should be fine assuming your walls are composed of reflective material or flat white paint. If your intentions are to do a sog then I would choose to run 15 sites in that room. You may be able to squeeze the 24 site if your going with scrog...

    3'X4' flowering room. few questions

Interesting. Perpetual cycle with single room? So you started half the room 5 weeks later than the other half? I'm sorry, I have more questions than you. That seems like it would grant you an uneven canopy. Also possibly more human exposure to to the plants in the flower room. Could be a bad...

    John Galt's First Grow

I'll get a couple of co2 buckets and put them in the mother/cone room. I'll verify the c02 is at proper levels the first few days. Anything above ≈ 300 ppm is better than natural growth anyway. I just don't want to buy another canister and regulator. And I'm definitely not going to start...

    John Galt's First Grow

I have co2 test tubes that seem to work well. In the tents I've got a couple of C.A.P. Adjustable Recycle Timer ART-DNes. I can't seal each individual room because the thermostat that tracks the temperature of the house isn't in the rooms. So the thermostat wouldn't take into consideration the...

    John Galt's First Grow

I will be running c02 tanks/regulators in my 24 site hydro tents. But originally opted out to enrich the mother/clone room. I don't really care about the pace the mothers grow and if I'm not mistaken the added co2 will do little for the cuttings. If it will stop the growth of the mothers then I...

    John Galt's First Grow

Thanks jagle. Yea I'm going to switch to 18/6 in a few days then. Should I be enriching the air with c02 at this point? I have no ventilation in any of these rooms. I have circulation in there and the room isn't completely sealed. Will that suffice at this point in their lives?

    John Galt's First Grow

Sorry to hear that pRiMo. Its odd that to some people the cultivation of cannabis is bad and others (including us all at the farm) feel that these plants were just subject to scrutiny for no reason. I myself do not smoke marijuana. Not that I frown on those who do. I have no illness which the...

    John Galt's First Grow

Thanks Mitch. I actually started the seedlings in a store bought seed starter with warming pad. (An amazing machine for the money) Had my two bulb t5 on it and vented the dome as soon as I saw their true leaves. Then after about two more days I transplanted. Two more days under the twin t5 I...

    John Galt's First Grow

I put the seedlings under the 8 lamp t5 today. Think I should have waited on a little more development? Also their on 24/0 light schedule now. Are their any ill effects to switching to 18/6 after they get a little stronger?

    John Galt's First Grow

Sorry for the lack of updates mates. Progress slowed down while waiting on the seeds. I did throw a couple of bag seeds in soil in the mother room. My thinking is that I can let them grow and pull a few cuttings off them to try out the Ebb and Flow system while the good genetics are on the way...

    Need a electricion

I believe he means a Power Miser. I did some research on them and it just doesn't add up. I've never studied electricity in depth but it just seems off.

    Power saver

I've heard of them. Their filled with capacitors that store energy and releases said energy as its needed. Claims to help save energy from inductive motors. I don't know if they work as claimed though. Its one of those pleas that you have to throw common sense out the window. I'm sure there...

    John Galt's First Grow

Thanks. I can't wait either. I must confess I chose that particular design for the sturdiness aspect but after examining the design closely I saw that it mimicked the reflector nearly perfect. I like that better than the rectangle tents that are sold. The "A" design uses more space and a...

    John Galt's First Grow

Decided to create a log of my first grow. Wanted to create a dedicated thread of the expedition for me to visualize my own progress. I'm sure many of you also benefit from this as well. Through the journey I also hope for many helpful tips and comments. :boogie: Now we start There are...

    First Grow

Thanks Brian. That's kinda what I had in mind as for the cycles. I still haven't completely decided on the plan. After I read your comment and thought about it a little more, three months to prepare a new batch of clones does seem a bit much. I'm open to different theories or ideas to utilize...

Tale of two Afghans (full-term fluorescent grow)

Amazing to see individuals grow beautiful plants with fluros. Keep up the astounding work.

Anybody have experience with dimmable lights?

I'm not trying to hijack your thread but with my Lumatek ballasts their is a dim knob and it goes to 110%. Does anyone use this feature? Is this going to hurt the ballast/bulb by going that high?

    need advice with these nutes

Were they in a jug? Open Container? If they were in a jug their probably still viable. If the label isn't still visible then I wouldn't use it unless your sure of what it is.

C02 in a bag! does it work???

I was always wondering how to control the amount of co2 with this method. I'd use it to boost the amount of co2 but deff not use it as a primary source in a sealed room. As far as the cost effectiveness of the bags I'm no so sure.
