    CS vs HG

For those that are here to learn and help others learn; Most brands on the market today will have anywhere up to 25% of the TOTAL nitrogen content coming from ammonia sources. What they do not say is that most brands are not made especially for hydroponic systems that are deep water culture...

Whats your Favorite Kelp Concentrate Product?

Not sure if Seagreen counts as a kelp product specifically but it is by far the best in its class as far as additives go. That stuff is damn near magical! Foliar, root drench, compost tea.... This stuff is so concentrated that to look at under a microscope you first have to dilute it down with...

veg+bloom, 1 part powder in socal tap

Maybe he has more power in lights than you do lilpigpig? Just taking a guess here... A easy way to get that "bush" look is to use HID (MH) over head and then surround with CFL's for side and lower lighting.

Most RIDICULOUSLY priced nutes out there....

Ya I have been spoiled on a huge sample that was gifted of Nitrozyme and I just am about to use up the last bit which means will need to buy some or find a alternative product. Might have to try what TK is using.

    Greenleaf Nutrients rock....I dumped AN

Ahhh..maybe it was there copy of cal/mag that might have been the issue then and caused problems. I might should have used a better cal/mag maybe. It seems as if it the greenleaf cal/mag was missing something.....now that I think about it, I think I remember reading at some other sites and...

Most RIDICULOUSLY priced nutes out there....

Good call on the Aptus line. Those folks are not very friendly as I tried to get some information from them. For as much as they are asking for the products they could at least be "nice" I thought and answer the questions I had, but instead they were rude and not very helpful at all....lol...

Most RIDICULOUSLY priced nutes out there....

I have thought one of the most crazy over priced products out there is Voodoo Juice....that stuff is crazy expensive and there are several other brands that work better than it does for a fraction of the cost. Snow Storm Ultra however is a reasonable priced product/additive IMHO for the...

    Greenleaf Nutrients rock....I dumped AN

Hehe...you have to dig the "love" that the mere mention of AN products can bring to a discussion...lol!! They make the bed they must sleep in!! Anyhow, were you using RO water or tap Mississippi-Hip? And did you supplement with cal/mag or other additives? Tried a few of the products and did...

    okay...spider mites

Get Mighty Wash or a product called Nuke Em, or both. You need to do about 4 applications spread out about 3 to 5 days apart. These products work!

    CS vs HG

Also forgot to mention we had issues with the CS bloom booster as well. After just a weeks time of sitting on the shelf, these little things of what can best be described as "tiny little brown strings" that started to form inside the bottle floating around in the solution. If I had to guess they...

    CS vs HG

Did not like CS nutrients for several reasons. One already mentioned is the fact that it is watered down. To me there is NOTHING "cool" at all about watered down nutrients. I really thought CS nutrients was going to be something "different" or special but it turns out to be nothing special...

Need to kill some mites fast! Possible russet mites!!

The top two products that worked best was Mighty Wash by NPK Industries and also a product called "Nuke 'Em" both of which work VERY VERY well (made by a different company than Mighty Wash). NPK Industries also sells a awsome product for PM and also a product to wash off any chemical residues...

Triacontanol- what it is, where to find it

GMO's are found everywhere in the USA. Even farmer's with organic fields are saying that there organic crops are getting "infected" so to speak. Just read another report that says they are now finding jet fuel toxins in organic lettuce farms. There is no way to be safe right now unless you are...

veg+bloom, 1 part powder in socal tap

Thats unfortunate deep buddy. This is the first time I have heard anything negative about Chris and have found him to be a very nice guy who has been extremely generous and will send anyone product samples to try for free. This is usually not the way a "greedy" person behaves, just a FYI. I...

Triacontanol- what it is, where to find it

Right on, that was my feeble attempt at humor..... Have done a good bit of testing with this PGR and have found it very effective for several uses such as cloning, and a additive (used in solution or root drench and as a foliar) for both veg and bloom cycles as well. The alfalfa tea's work...

Triacontanol- what it is, where to find it

Or you guys could just purchase a bottle of Snow Storm Ultra which is a concentrated form of the PGR Triacontanol. It is very cheaply priced. Wait a tick.....I thought PGR's were bad and made by the devil? hehe

    spinout

My guess would be that most people are trying to get AWAY from "growth regulators" in general. I know I would not want to use a product like this. IMO there are much better ways to control root growth and it has never really been a problem to begin with.
