    Seeing Spots, But No Mites

I think they are some kind mites anyway. I only saw mites after 2 weeks of that spotted stuff. Check this out, I think the name is Sarah posts on one of these forums, I guess this one, 400x pics of these mite hoards in inside the leaves. I used a 100x magnifier, and I'm pretty sure I saw butt...

    Seeing Spots, But No Mites

So anyway, here's my final report on these spots. Those spots were spider mites. The flowering plants on which they first appeared were healthy enough to ward them off. But all my clones got them. Spots, then necrotic patches, then a rusted look. So I'm definitely keeping on top of them from now...

    Seeing Spots, But No Mites

So these spots are starting to concern me now. They don't seem to be spreading much, but they seem to have grown in size. I'm noticing small flies around the tops of the plants lately. Not sure if that's related. They are in the 4th week of flower. It this a nutrient problem?

    Seeing Spots, But No Mites

Watering my plants today, it took 20ml of RealLemon lemon juice concentrate to lower the PH of 5 gals. of my tap water from 8.4 to 6.2.

I'll try lemon juice out tomorrow and let you all know how much it takes to get the PH down. Anyway, this thread at ICMag is saying if the soil is right, then you don't have to worry about PH: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=53792.

I diluted the neem, but maybe some pure neem dripped on the outside of the bottle, then dripped on the plant. Dunno. I pretty much always raise the lights when I spray too.

    Seeing Spots, But No Mites

Thanks for that advice. I heard the hydro PH adjusters are bad for the herd. But lemon should be harmless. Thanks!

    Seeing Spots, But No Mites

Thank-you all so much for the great advice about my plants. I'm glad to hear no one thinks I have spider mites! I sure don't see any. You all are the best.

    Seeing Spots, But No Mites

I've recently read that I don't need PH down/up with organic grows, because the EWC/humic and dolomite lime buffer the PH. Next time I water, I'm planning on not modifying the PH. But it comes out of the tap pretty high around here, something like 8.5!

Sorry for the delay. Yes, I do spray with the lights on. Thanks.

    Seeing Spots, But No Mites

I will re-check to see if I can find any mites. If I see any I'll treat them ASAP, before the plants start to flower. Cap's bennies are on the way in the mail, so I will go ahead and treat them with that even if I don't see any mites. Thanks!

    Seeing Spots, But No Mites

Sorry if the answer to this has been posted already. I'm not sure I found it. Here are the details (Thanks again.): 1. Are you growing from seed or clones? Seeds. 2. How old are your plants? About 11 weeks. 3. How tall are your plants? About 3'. 4. What size containers are they planted in? 3...

    Seeing Spots, But No Mites

Hi Farmers, Do you know what these spots are? I looked underneath the affected leaves with a 20x magnifier, but don't see any mites or anything else. What to do? The plants are about 10 days into 12/12 lighting. They are being grown in soil. The spots are on a few leaves of the plants. Thanks.

    a few different soil mixes..

Look at the Coir Forum. They are all talking about boiling their coco, for fear of root aphids. Maybe it's a hydro thing.

Fun gus gnats? Fun (and organic!) way to kill em...

I think you might be right about that. Few days ago I had 2 dozen healthy leaves drop off my haze. Freaked me out. I think the poor girl was thirsty.

Gave my flowering Blue Dreams 18 hours of light by accident...am I fucked?

I have wondered about that too, regarding small light leaks into the room. Needs to be perfectly dark? Plants flowering outside at night are not in total darkness, especially on nights with a full moon and clear skies. Still, I'm afraid to test it and keep my flowering room as dark as possible.
