Flush to begin in a few days......Question regarding Sulfur burn treatment?

Thank you! The flush will begin tonight. I thinned out the plants by removing some of the fan leaves so air could move more easily around the leaves. I sprayed with Green Cure and added two oscillating fans breezing at plant level. I will be inspecting daily, so far no mold on buds....knock on...

Flush to begin in a few days......Question regarding Sulfur burn treatment?

Thank you, I am on top of the PM daily. So far the buds are fine. My concern is the 10 day flush and a concern that it will reappear during that 10 days. I was looking for something more definitive before flushing. On my side the weather has changed and the humidity is staying in the 40's. I...

Flush to begin in a few days......Question regarding Sulfur burn treatment?

I am new to growing and had major difficulty with temp control when I first began. Powdery Mildew became a problem. I have been used both Green Cure and No Powdery Mildew and have kept it in check. Because I should start flushing in the next few days I am concerned about the PM taking over and...

    Tell me....did I create a problem?

I tried removing the intake air, for the Lights, from the window and just let it take it from the room and yesterday the temp make it to 100 degrees. The noise is going to have to return. Although my ducting is not insulated. I am going to replace the uninsulated ducting with insulated and...

    Tell me....did I create a problem?

Maybe this will help you understand. This diagram is of the room. The sloppy stuff is what has recently changed and I didn't bother to draw it to scale. The ac shown closest to the wall, the Can Filter and Dehumidifier are not being used right now. The little ovals with "RF" in them is the...

    Tell me....did I create a problem?

You may be right SmokesToMuch.....It does make sense why the more sensitive of the two units is turning off. The units are side by side. I am exploring GR33NL3AF's idea of linking the AC into the lights duct. This could also help solve the noise factor. Now, I have a duct to intake air for the...

    Tell me....did I create a problem?

No, the lights have intake from outside and vent outside. The diagram above is just what is in the attic. It is the Exhaust from both lights and ACs. Although, Whitewidowweed your comment reminded me that while I was resting the plants from heat stress. I kept the lights at 600 watts and added...

    Tell me....did I create a problem?

By the way smokesToMuch......I want to thank you and tell you that I appreciate your input. The inline fan is now installed and worth it since it seems quieter than the duct fan. This fan is a booster. There is an 8" fan on the other side of the lights. I won't know until tonight if it solved...

    Tell me....did I create a problem?

I did purchase the duct fan at the Hydro store. I just return from purchasing two inline fans. One will be replacing the duct fan to see if more pull will resolve the issue. My lights do not have an air conditioner cooling them, but do have an 8" fan intaking ducted, fresh air from outside and...

    Tell me....did I create a problem?

Would a more powerful fan, in place of the duct fan, move the air more efficiently? Both of my ACs need to work to keep the heat down if lights are on 100 0watts. As it is, if I run AC2 (older unit) on fan and AC1 on cool mode it cools well enough for the 2 600watt lights and AC1 (the newer...

    Tell me....did I create a problem?

My AC #1 was working great until I turned on AC#2. They were both ducted at the same time. AC#2 was not needed until I turned the lights from 600 to 1000 watts. I have provided a diagram of what I did. When AC#2 was not being used it was in the closet because hot air was coming out of it. So...

Still Curling....Room no longer too hot or wild temp fluctuations

Ha Ha.....Haggardass.....the PH may have been part of the problem, but I will never know for sure. Thanks Dan, I did flushed and let the plants rest for a week, they held their own but didn't improve much. I adjusted the vents and many other changes. I had been checking my PH with the liquid...

Still Curling....Room no longer too hot or wild temp fluctuations

Thank you Botanikos. I will be giving that a try tonight. I wish I had done the exercise of answering the above questions earlier. It made me aware that I was missing the whole PPM thing. There is so much to learn about all this. It is exciting and I am looking forward to the adventure.

Still Curling....Room no longer too hot or wild temp fluctuations

In the first week of veg there was a day when the temp was over 100 degrees. Until the day when I redid the ducting there was a wide fluctuation of temp but other than that one day it probably didn't go over 90 degrees. I did forget to mention that yesterday I started adding CO2 into the room...

Still Curling....Room no longer too hot or wild temp fluctuations

I have resolved the heat problem in my room. The temp is remaining consistent 2 or 3 degrees each side of 79 degrees. Although the curling of leaves problem continues on some of the new growth. Not all of the plants are affected. What would you do in my situation? I have been light on the...

Babes with leaves curling in on themselves

I am. I just finished setting up a second AC. I will need it when I turn the lights up to 1000 watts. Since I changed the ducting the temp of the room seems to be holding well at 600 watts. I also made a mistake. My lights will only be off for 6 hours until done vegging.

Babes with leaves curling in on themselves

I believe it was day 3 or 4 when the temp hit 100 degrees. I had a couple of days that were very yo-yo like. That is when the curling happened. I probably planted a bit too soon. As I said I am being guided by people who have been doing this for a long time. They had harvested recently and got...

Babes with leaves curling in on themselves

Thanks Dan. I moved on of my thermometers outside the room so I could monitor it while the lights are out. I believe it has the capabilities you speak of. I didn't realize it did and I turned it off and wiped out the memory. I like the idea of a remote way of checking! I am sure with...
