    Cheap alternatives to overpriced hydroponic nutrients

    Yes. Works like the Dickens. I'm running it in flower, in the veg stage I'm running a 1.25:1 ratio, also highly effective.

    Oh My God, He Turned It INSIDE OUT!!!

    This is getting surreal. The newest room with the veg girls has three cylinders, each with fifty square feet. That's more square footage than the room has floor space. Yet, I'm down to 3kW of lighting bare bulb instead of 4 in sealed and vented hoods. How well do the plants like it? They've...

    Oh My God, He Turned It INSIDE OUT!!!

    These got flipped Thanksgiving Day, Dairy Queen runs anywhere between seven and eight weeks. Pics fresh off the grill, taken right before I posted them. And then there's that smell... candy dairy cheesy and a tiny bit rancid. Just like your favorite stop for sweetness in the summertime!

    Oh My God, He Turned It INSIDE OUT!!!

    And just in case y'all thought I was resting on my laurels, here's a preview of coming attractions... But beware, all ye wayfarers- as it says on the old maps demarcating uncharted territory; 'Here be Dragons!'

    Oh My God, He Turned It INSIDE OUT!!!

    Heh heh heh... so who wants to see an update?! This site has my other account all jacked up, so I thought I'd post a pic or two while @logic figures out what's up with it;

    Lets compare and review air pumps

    The BEST airpump is NO airpump. Waterfalls all the way, using the same waterpump and the same water as I'm just circulating the same water- from above the waterline. I've been testing this for months now, and it's the equal of any airstone and pump system out there. Big-time mini contractor...

    Lets compare and review air pumps

    It's old and needs a rebuild kit. The Eco Air 7 is the only good one in the whole line. It's big, expensive- and bulletproof. The only time it's been off in three years was when I kicked the plug out. Quiet, too.

    Solexx greenhouses

    For the uninitiated- like me, for instance- can someone explain in a bit more detail what these panels are, how they're made? Maybe some pics of the panels up close? How they're installed to be wind/rain/moisture proof? The family has land, I'm thinking of doing a greenhouse on it this year.

    Watercooled sealed room?

    You're on the right track thinking about putting the chiller someplace away from your grow- this is one of water chilling's biggest advantages, to be able to place the unit where it makes the most sense to shed/redirect the excess heat. My grow rooms are in the basement but my chillers are...

    Watercooled sealed room?

    Those who say that a 4kW op is too small for water chilling are almost right. But no one would balk at a tiny chiller to cool the water... gets me every time! I cool everything; air, dehuey, RDWC, even the house, with water. It is easier to run hoses than ductwork- it just gets complex because...
