So, you're new here, eh? Here's some stuff you may find handy...

Growing:cry::mad::cool: ... in that order. Sorry, never enough time for posts, or plants, or the family, or work and life in general.... What's the light setup? Assuming you're at 1000w, in soil, you will generally get the lb to 1 1/2 per light. You can grow one beautiful girl, or the 9 you're...

Not that I know it all, but I have grown hundreds of varieties, (literally) , both indoors and out. Use a lot of organics, soil grows only but I have some limited experience with hydro, mostly the nutrient aspect and setup. Ask away and enjoy the advice.

Relative to your slime problem too; filimentous bacteria will take on a colony trait. It'll form after water has been in circulation for too long. Also, as mentioned, with an over feed. The filimentous form from a lack of air for the most part, but phos plays a key role. It is important to smell...

Liquid Ladybug works, on a small scale and is more costly than a vacuum and Neem. Advantage given to Liquid ladybug is that it can be used with lights on and longer throughout your cycles. Nothing is as effective safely to eliminate bugs as Neem, but it requires a long flush.

To maximize aeration at very little cost, aerate with a Venturi style system. Very simple to make and install, looking up online should give you an idea of how it is designed and you can conceive from there. A static mixer inline with your "hose" will provide the necessary dissolved oxygen too...

It's too late for that run, because it's now 2015 and you're on your next run probably. For the future, work, work, work. That's the solution. Vacuum your leaves and soil every 2 days, without exception. Try Neem Oil, a natural pesticide, available at supply stores. Use as directed to on...

    Plant count in Maine

Does anyone write on this anymore. The laws in Maine are more for us than against us. We have an affirmative defense to excess plant and weight possession, which is at 6 flowering, 12 adult in veg over the 12" by 12" language. The allowed amount in veg is literally unlimited, albeit they need...
