Osa Nutrient Additive Out Of Rhode Island! Is 5 Gallons Worth $4700?

Thanks for running that analysis... AgSil looks solid. Great insight on options for root and foliar feeding. Great pics too for those that don't like science :)

Did it turn color in the bottle or did you switch into a different container (looks like glass)? Should be shelf stable up to 2 years but sometimes temp, contamination, etc can affect the colors a little bit. Most cases the product is still good...the color isn't related to the silicic acid...

So we had to get bottles from another supplier since the first one ran out and lied to us about it. The new bottles seemed to allow some microbes in which then chewed on the food. Unless it smells like ammonia, I'm not concerned with the safety or efficacy (using it myself). That said, we'v...

Yep sounds good to me... It will mix pretty fast and not have any significant effect on microbes.

Osa Nutrient Additive Out Of Rhode Island! Is 5 Gallons Worth $4700?

This is a great discussion! Thank you for input everyone. Remember that improving results of any kind is never a one trick pony... no magic bullets! One weak spoke and the wheel turns slower. Many silicic acid actions create secondary benefits, much like the way a catalyst facilitate a chemical...

Osa Nutrient Additive Out Of Rhode Island! Is 5 Gallons Worth $4700?

Yeah that's a bit high for regular use. You can probably cut in half long as you're hitting them 2 times per week.

Osa Nutrient Additive Out Of Rhode Island! Is 5 Gallons Worth $4700?

@Kygiacomo No problem! You can use them both early as you want. Never had reports of damage on babies. Deep6 will benefit most on the cuttings though. Definitely get both on at first roots and/or foliar at any time to help manage stress.

There's some good discussion up the thread to review rather than rehash. Every grower has a different situation so we recommend a side by side to see the difference for yourself.

Osa Nutrient Additive Out Of Rhode Island! Is 5 Gallons Worth $4700?

You certainly CAN use it through the end but the major benefit of silicon is from early growth, during rapid cell division and structure building. Toward the end, the benefits are mostly unseen, like some immunity response and perhaps nutritional. We think if you've used it consistently since...

You can cut around week 6... not much benefit after that

Osa Nutrient Additive Out Of Rhode Island! Is 5 Gallons Worth $4700?

Yes that's about the time... You will still get a great effect just not as much as multiple apps. You'll still get a first few days of benefit in the res.

    Deep 6 Roots

@CelticEBE @DemonTrich Use at 1ml per gallon once rooted. Can be used for a pre-soak or root dip at up to 10ml per gallon. Foliar at 8ml per gallon. In a clone machine most growers are using 1-2ml per gallon. Deep6 isn't intended as a cloning dip like Clonex. Keep us posted on your results!
