Thanks. I’m working on it and will leave them be. I think when I went from a cheap ufo to the 2 300w Mars Hydro’s I may have shocked them a bit, or moving them from a 65-70 degree basement to a 70-85 2x4 tent. Like I said these guys have been through a lot at my unskilled hands.

i have a 2x4x5 tent with two 300 Mars Hydro. I have them hanging from the hangers provided to a ratchet. The clip is to the top. Any tricks to safety shorten the gap between ceiling and light unit? And most importantly, how close is too close? Hindsight I wish I went taller.

The tent is on concrete but plants are up on foam so they are off the floor but I know what you’re getting at. I do have two heating pads for germinating seeds. Maybe that would bump the temp a bit placed under the foam.

Thanks for the quick responses. Next issue is that the tent is in my basement. With the lights on the temp stayed in the 70’s but when the lights are off and the fan is running the temp in the tent drops into mid 60’s. Any ideas as to how to fix?

This may sound dumb but I’m new here and was wondering if there is any disadvantage to having an exhaust fan in the tent with the hose running out of the tent to the filter sitting beside the tent?

I tested the ph (runoff) and it shows between 6-7

Of course I just watered the plants today before the picture because they were dry. If it is magnesium I have read that I can add Epson salt to the water. I guess, at this point, my question is do I just re-water the plants today with the Epson salt and then let them dry out since they’re ready...

I ended up watering them today. The ph is at 7. However, I tested the phosphorus and it’s really low.

Thanks. They’re due to be watered tomorrow and I will check it. What is the fastest way to increase the ph? What I’ve read says to add lime which would take a while to kick in no?
