    Crawl Crawl Stand Standing

I wasn't gonna post here as I didn't want to appear to be stalking Cap. However, I saw you have a Hot Shot pest strip in one of those pics and I feel compelled to offer a small warning. They work incredibly well to deter all manner of insects but the gas they give off is not cool to inhale or...

    Getto Trees Part 2

My first post since coming back. It is certainly not my goal to disagree with folks I respect right out the gate but rather to try and be helpful. From the pics I've seen you guys obviously can grow but I'll try anyway. IMO, the lower yellow leaves appear to be classic overwatering. Please...

bump from the ashes. after a nice break i'm back at it and in dire need of proven genetics. in the k family, good side branches, colas all the way down, no spindly/woody/hard to root OG, robust, indica dom, not worn out, ideally 8 to 9 weeks. oh and it trims itself too. j/k but since i've...

Cheap alternatives to overpriced hydroponic nutrients

Cool. So I can try and keep this all straight, the key points between hydro and soil formulas are: Type of N PH buffering Non-chelated for soil due to enzymes and bacteria. Does media containing mostly peat moss contain these enzymes and bacteria in sufficient numbers to not have to use...

Cheap alternatives to overpriced hydroponic nutrients

I'm stoked this thread exists. Does anyone have a spreadsheet with most of the major nute companies formulations side by side? I'm getting ready to have one of the large fert companies make me a custom formulation and having the data in one place will save me from having to compile. BTW, I...

Coco Redemption - Free at Last!

Running with RH at/near 70% is not really a contributing factor to PM or rot problems. (I've run with 70% all the way through flower for years) The biggest issue with running it that high is controlling the spikes right after lights out and right before lights on. If you run near 70% during...

    growing Trees with perlite

Perlite and RTW is not practical as the perlite doesn't retain enough moisture. Thus you have to water frequently and if RTW you'll have far too much waste. I use drippers 24/7. I suggest more research before you pull the trigger on one of these systems. Good luck.

    Janus Treatise on Growing

Sorry, Mary I don't have the research on the LECA. I was told by a reputable PhD in the field that they had done trials but I'm not sure it was ever published. Thanks for the welcome back.

    Oxidate, Works wonders for PM!!!

Anyone else have experience with it? Due to the fine moon-dust in my garden that get's all over my plants (despite regular hose rinses) I'm having to dunk my bud into water before bucking, Twister, and onto screens. I'm thinking of adding a little Oxidate to the 'dunk' for PM and Bot...

    Is there a curing limit?

What's the feedback on the nitrogen injected vacuum sealers? I've heard differing opinions.

Do plastic curing containers kill smell?

These are the plastic containers that JK refers to and that I've used to cure for years. Zero plastic taste, airtight, each holds 3 units comfortably, etc.

Truth in advertizing or plain BS

I am laughing my ass off at that list. Nice responses by all, btw. Also, props to JK for stirring the shit again. I hope AN finally hypes themselves into oblivion. All I have to say is that if they've conducted a SINGLE experiment using scientific method, I'd love to see it. JK and I (many...

    Janus Treatise on Growing

Machine destroyed, eh? That sounds like internet folklore. Sunlight just got a massive delivery of the stuff a few weeks ago. At least 3x over the last 5 years they run out and get severely back-ordered. Eventually they get caught up. Ideal EC for flowering is very plant and time specific...

    Janus Treatise on Growing

#4 is smaller than Big and Chunky. The smaller stuff holds more water. Or said another way, it holds less oxygen. Yup, single 1/4" line into each bkt T off twice to equal 4 drippers. Drippers are a PIA but produce a slightly better result than cycling the water.

PVC is 1/2" and used for plant stakes. Add a coupler and another 2' section when the plants get bigger. Recirc. Rezs are sunk below ground level. Gravity drain. Milwaukee DO meter. Any brand of infrared is fine. Good luck
