I would like to grow some kind of purple flower... I was impressed by the leaves and the trichomes and the purple pretty stuff.

I got them from Grower's Choice which is based in Eureka, California.

I only have room for three plants so I only got three seeds.

Yeah I just now am getting restarted, haven't grown for 2 years.

This time I'll have Critical Purple Autoflowers, Strawberries, Lavender and Mint and Wildflowers.

Maybe some aloe vera and other plants in the future.

Eventually another grow area above my kitchen, could do 6 dwarf autoflowers there.

Let's see... With my points and a sale on 3 seeds, I paid $34.54 including tax, shipping and credit card processing fee.

So $11.51 per seed. About the cost of a decent gram of pre roll flowers.

Well i developed my own strain which has purple autoflower in the mix as it was a pollination strain i started a few yrs ago. Here’s a picture of what I made& this little bud holder is going to be picked in a few weeks , then dry and cure that’s 3-4 weeks and she’ll be ready to smoke. Good luck with growing .

I don’t have bc I don’t know the parents although I am pretty sure one is a purple as I’ve always like grown it but I can’t remember what the second one was , nor do I really care as I just smoke it and say those are tasty . Secret #1 ! I ordered some seeds that I got today and they shorted me two. I’ll reveal the outcome soon and share who it is once I know.

Not going to use a liner this time as I want increased airflow.

Each hole is 1/4 inch and there are plenty to go all around.

These pots were $1 a piece in Oakland for the 3 gallon sizes and I think 50 cents for the others. A few of the smaller ones a couple of big ones not shown I actually found for FREE

The green will be cannabis and strawberries and 1 big lavender

The black will be Mint

I have two glass vases that will be wildflowers and mint as well.

I should have enough soil.

These pots have soil lines so you can safely add water and amendments without overflowing.

Now I will be planting soon!

I plan on planting ON or ABOUT the
NEW MOON

DAY 14!

WOW! HOLY ADJUSTMENT BATMAN!

So this day was really revealing!
I discovered some serious issues that needed to be fixed ASAP!

1. My heater needed to be moved and mounted properly with brackets and a shelf. It was running at 750 watts and the direction it was facing wasn't working.

I was thinking about it earlier before and came to the decision to change it!

Turns out it was a really good decision!
I bought some brackets and some screws and used my drill to properly mount the heater on the wall and I placed a plastic plate underneath for stabilization.

It's now running at 500 watts and coming on less and the fan is directing the air flow properly and I'm really excited about it!

2. My ink bird humidity controller needed to be calibrated!
It was off by 10%

I had some other hygrometers that I used to calibrate the sensor on my IHC 2000 Wi-Fi inkbird controller and this whole time I have been running it at 80% humidity not realizing that it should be 70 and it was reading 70 but actually producing 80. So I'm really glad I was able to figure that out!

3. I moved my strawberry plants up to the top shelf realizing that it was going to do better there as it was getting more light and now I have more room for more plants!

I also repositioned the pots so that everything would be at a better place, underneath the lights AND I did some final tweaking and tuning in general to make everything work better in the grow window.

I'm really excited because now everything is copacetic and I'm going to be able to have even more plants in the window!

As much as 11 plants!

I am thinking about putting mint and maybe wildflowers and perhaps more strawberries but time will tell.

I haven't made a decision exactly on that but at least I have the option!

I'm officially at 3.3 days into my grow.





No signs of germination yet, only just now established ideal conditions last 24 hours.



Most guides say 1-4 days germination time, but some say 5-7 days.



Today will be the 1st day with the lights fully on the schedule from 7:11 AM to 11:11 PM



Before I was running a little less than 16 hours, making sure HEAT and HUMIDITY are the KINGS and QUEENS of the day.

So today I discovered that my mostly sealed off environment (with top venting and bottom venting) reached the same CO2 levels as the outside, while I was in the shower, also while I'm not here, 413-500 ppm! THAT'S REALLY GREAT!

Why, YOU ask?

Well it means that I can safely add the yeast and sugar to my DIY system and I create a BETTER level for my plants
While I am gone and not home producing my own CO2

When I'm home my plants will still be giving me Oxygen and helping me.

I am often 3 or more days away on occasion and this will be very helpful.

I know it won't mean much in terms of yeild increase, BUT just being able to do it sounds REALLY COOL.


Plus I might actually brew something while I'm at it, not sure, but I supposed I could.
