DAY 9 OF MY CRITICAL PURPLE BABYSo I decided to make the best of what I've got.
I added more soil and put the stem buried a little so that it's filled up to the pot and it will grow some lateral roots hopefully that will improve the root System overall as it's still very young and we can make the most of the pot and the soil.
The stem was really tall anyway, so it was definitely a good idea to give it some more support.

I would suggest going easy with the water for a while, its looking kinda saturated. Let those tiny roots get established first![]()

The only plant in my house right now!Nothing surprising here! Getting treated like an only child!![]()
Donโt want to mislead you but howโs your humidity level, and are there any fans directly blowing on your seedling? Also soil looks super saturated. Germination and seedling stages are where I struggle most so I know more about killing seedling by over loving them than I do about anything. Definitely wonโt need any nutrients until you have multiple sets of leaves. Your two small leaves are nutrient packed and will shrivel up after depleted.Day 11 of Susie.
Her adult leaves are starting to form.
I'm concerned about her yellowing in the center.
I didn't water her yesterday, giving her dry time and root development time, only just now spritzed a little water.
Any advice?
Does anyone see anything on the leaves i have overlooked?
Is the yellowing due to her needing nitrogen soon?
What about the slight curling on the leaves?
Is that a feature of ruderalis or something else?![]()
Yeah humidifier is at 65%Donโt want to mislead you but howโs your humidity level, and are there any fans directly blowing on your seedling? Also soil looks super saturated. I have 2 fans, one on each level.
They are set-up to circulate air quickly.
Definitely getting airflow.
I just think the top new adult leaves might be a bit yellow.
Yesterday it got dry, only spritzed with water just now.
new shoot are always lighter green.I'm concerned about her yellowing in the center.

Thank younew shoot are always lighter green.
don't spray the plant (that could bring more issues than helping), stop watering until top soil layer get a little dry for a a day or two.
over-mothering killed more plant, than just letting them do their things and waiting patiently.
also seeing your soil mix, you shouldn't need to feed anything until the plant get noticeably bigger related to pot size.
finally, small wrinkle and discoloration with the first few set of leaves are most of the time nothing of concern.
I think you outta quit spraying this plant and let it dry. Folks are trying to help you succeed.
