DAY 40 💜💜💜☮️💚👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I gave Susie some fertilizer 🌱

1 cup of Distilled Water (pH'd)
2 Smidgens of Purpinator 0-2-4
2 Drops of Superthrive 0.5-0-0
3 TADS of Sure Start 4-6-2
2 TADS of BAT 🦇 GUANO

Did a TAD of Defoliation 🌱💚
Changed Humidity to 55%

Susie 💜🌱 now has a great chance to
THRIVE!

Lavender 🍇 still not germinated, so just watered again to keep moist, still two weeks to go before it may germinate.🙏🏼💜💜💜☮️

Overall I'm REALLY happy with my garden 🏡🕉️

i really struggle to understand how you can be so enthousiastic with a plant that's gonna worth 1 to 10 joints at most in the end. Being an auto there's not much to expect at this point...

Finally some photos where the top soil layer is looking partially dry, partially wet, i still wait 3 more days or so when it look like that before watering again with a plant that small as compared to pot size. So it look fully dry for a day or two. Plant is still small as compared to pot size and don't pull that much water from the soil. Most of the drying is due to evaporation.

the fact she's still not stretching a little and is so compact tend to indicate you're still overwatering ...

( if the roots had recovered and grown significantly we would see much more stretch than that )

I'm enthusiastic because she's recovering ❤️‍🩹🌱

Because I'm learning.

It's the journey that matters, not the destination.

Will she be smaller than expected?

Yes, but I'm getting an education from this 2nd growing experience.

I'm treating her with love and care since she's my only plant.

I am concerned with quality control right now, not yeild.

I'll be focusing on bringing out her genetics 🧬 potential and her colors as she moves into flower 🌸.

Next grow 🪴 🪟 I'll have 3 plants again, probably going to try autos again but I do, now have some Photoperiod seeds that were a gift 🎁, so I'm definitely looking forward to growing those.

to me you'r doing random things with feeding hopping that work, not really listening to the advices given about feeding or watering

overloving your plant in every aspect, like controlling rh and environnement when that's really unecessary to experience an healthy a vigorous growth when the temperature not too hot not too cold, because yet you fail with something so much more important: proper watering pratice depending stage of growth, proper planning when buying soil and nutrients then having a proper feeding schedule.

you should reread the whole thread since 2022 and see how many time some people told you you're overloving and/or overwaterings your plants.

all the micro managing give you the illusion of quality control ...

even if it's greener no real sign of being back to more vigorous growth, so no not really recovering fully.

it's hard to try to help you when you seem to never really listen or learn ....

next grow could be a good idea to post a daily photo of how the soil look and ask if you should water again or not.

I have taken people's advice, including yours.

Thank you for the observations.🙏🏼

I am not over watering my plant, I am letting it dry out properly now.

She is responding well to the changes I have made.

I will endeavor to have a BETTER start next grow 🪴

did you even read what i wrote:

you most prolly still overwatering, you shared photos were the soil was partially dry partially wet, yet you watered again before the top soil layer was FULLY DRY FOR A FEW DAYS, when you should let it dry 3 or 4 more days before watering...

she's not responding well to the change you've made , that's just better nutrients wise not growth vigor wise and's that's because roots are still stunt and don't grow significantly ...

plant growth is somehow proportionnal to how big is the rootball.

I think you're getting confused by the photos that I'm posting. 😓

Sometimes I take pictures when the soil is dry and sometimes I take pictures when the soil is moist.

I checked the weight of the pot, I used my meter, I stuck my finger 2 inches down into the soil surrounding the plant, the leaves were drooping and asking for water, it was time to water and I only gave her a cup.

She definitely wasn't getting enough fertilizer, that I also changed.

I'm going to be patient and give her more time. ☮️

not seen once a photo where the top soil layer was looking fully dry ... always looking too dark and wet on some location ...

last photos you shared were the first photos where the soil look partially wet partially dry depending location, and when that happen with a small seedling in large pots you can wait 3 more days or so before watering again.

your plant is still small because it doesn't have much roots to sustain lot of growth at time, it' doesn't have much root because the environnemental condition for the roots to grow are not good, and well because you'r still most prolly overwatering.

usually within the first weeks roots grow and expand fast enough that you should experience much more vigorous growth.

Yeah I think what's happening is when I take photos from a certain angle, I'm purposely darkening the lens of the camera and using the pro mode for certain pictures.

That's why it looks different in some of my photos as well.

I get better leaf pictures when I take the brightness down because I have to sometimes with the LEDs being so bright.

6 right plants are autos as old as yours.

you must be doing something overly wrong, most prolly watering else they already had some time to recover to some more vigorous growth rate.

Yeah it was the initial 10 days, I really stunted her and definitely over watered during that time, she absolutely should be bigger. 🙏🏼☮️

I nearly killed her honestly. 😥

more important is they had lot of time to recover already and they're not growth wise.

i often overwater few of the extra seeds i launch as backup in small cups when starting a grow, and deal with few stunted seedlings and young plants, believe me they can recover much faster than yours, and start to grow noticeably in size again if everything is done right.

and you can also have a yellow plant lacking nutrients growing much bigger, the fact your's not growing in size indicate the roots are unhappy and not growing/expanding like they should.

also you need to understand that being an auto she'is about to be done with her stretch and won't grow much bigger or taller now.

and well micro managing feeding and watering for a plant that small isn't so much of learning curve as compared to take care of an healthy, vigorous and much bigger plant ... i wouldn't wait to already restart some seeds, could it be auto or photos ... keep that one growing alongside the others in a corner if that please you, but yeah really no point waiting for it to finish before restarting some seeds ...
