need to be clones from the same plant, you can't compare different seeds.

two different seeds may just be well different and that won't prove anything to grow one in some condition and the other seed with some others conditions
Yeah I don't know how to make clones, we're not there yet. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚

Would like to learn though! โ˜˜๏ธ๐Ÿ’šโ˜ฎ๏ธ
If you use an aerocloner, you can clone just about anything. It's very easy to do and I'm sure there would be plenty of people willing to give you tips if you posted your cloning journey in your thread.

This is one of the ones I have: https://www.amazon.com/CLONE-KING-Aeroponic-Cloning-Machine/dp/B008NRQJC0/ref=sr_1_9?sr=8-9 It's pros are the larger than typical manifold. It's con is the size of the foam disk you put your cutting in. Shop around when you're ready to purchase one. Pay attention to the size of the manifold and look for what would fit your needs.

Oh it's done with hydroponics?

Can you clone with soil instead?

There's certainly more than one way to clone. Aeroponics makes it very simple.
Clones taken 30225

You have bare roots on the end of the cuttings after roughly 10 days. Some of those clones were transferred directly to soil. Some got their roots cut and inserted into 1.5 x 1.5 grodan cubes and then went through the mail to a grower I know a few states away.

42 (The Secret To Life, The Universe and Everything Else) ๐Ÿ˜‡

Today on Day 42 I spent some time putting in the HEAT MATS and also dealing with a loose cord on the top fan and a loose plug and having to re-do the setup a little. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ’ง PHEW!

Got a little HOT ๐Ÿ”ฅ working under the lights, but worth it! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ’œ

I have better cord management

now, although a bit wonky ๐Ÿ˜…

Looking much better!

Also cleaned up the area and cleaned my humidifier, it was due. ๐Ÿซง ๐Ÿงด๐Ÿงฝ

The heat โ™จ๏ธ mats work well!

Later this evening I'll test my soil temperature and see how it goes.

MY saucer trays for my pots are pretty thick and have a gap of air because they have wheels on the bottom, so won't be directly touching the pot, that should work out well, so we'll see! ๐Ÿ˜

I decided to plug them into the same circuit that's controlling FAN 2 up top as that is programmed to turn off for 15 minutes every hours during the day and 15 minutes off every 6 hours at night to give the motor a break.

This will work for the heat mats too as they'll get a break from being on all the time.

DAY 42... CONTINUED

Gave Susie Q ๐ŸŽถ ๐ŸŒฑ ๐Ÿ’œ some water , just about a cup, she's actually drinking it pretty well now, won't probably need to water again until Saturday.

She's looking very pretty ๐Ÿ˜ ๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒบ

I'm not sure why I always want to bring up my huge, Huge, ass auto I grew outside a while back....separate from my regular area......

Started indoors, me not knowing it was an auto, I threw it outside....

I was able to pack 3ish bowls when all was done....

I hate fuยฅโ‚ฌยฟng autos!!!! Cause it was a pretty nice ๐Ÿšฌ.......

Guess who losses when they grow autos? Yeah.......me......

What do you consider a good yield?
I like that you dont care about the price of your grow.shows that you grow it for the grow and not for the end result
Yeah, at this point it's an education, plus I really do care about my plant.

I want to get BETTER at this. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผโ˜ฎ๏ธ

I am disappointed that I won't have a big yeild, my 2 other seeds didn't germinate, so I was expecting 3 Plants โ˜˜๏ธ โ˜˜๏ธ โ˜˜๏ธ

But I am looking at the positive ๐Ÿ•‰๏ธ

i always had the best result just putting cuttings directly in slighlty overwatered small cup with soil so the cutting can easily pull water from the soil first week or two.

(i coat the bottom of the stem with a little honey and water with aloe vera, that give as fast resuslt as clonex gel )

(you can't really clone auto efficiently as they are on a timer for flowering, cloning usually belong to photoperiods)

Cool! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I think I would like to try that then, with soil.

Where do you cut the plants to make a proper candidate to clone? ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ

Where do you cut the plants to make a proper candidate to clone?

i usually work with 8cm to 14 cm cuttings or so.

you can work with the main top or any secondary branches that has grown enough, where you gonna cut and how many cuttings gonna depend on what you try to achieve with the mother afterward.
