Just air?

No water?
Thats just the name basicly you scrach the skin of the plant a little bitthen put a ball of dirt around it wet it just a little bit and then wrap it with foil soo dirt cant evaporate and then something dark around the foil.it takes a long time i forgot hoe much maybe a month but you can check if the roots filled the dirt.then you just cut belove the dirt ball and you have a ready clone

that's plant "layering" and "air layering"

usually used for plants that are harder to clones than cannabis.

What are the clay balls for?
drainage bottom of pot, so the soil don't sit directly in water run off when there a is few in the plant saucer after watering and while being able to slowly suck it back if the soil not oversaturated.

this could help prevent water accumulation bottom of pot that potentially cause root rot if your watering a little too much

always been doing like that, but that's not really 100% necessary now as my watering frequencies and amounts are now well set and rarely change much for each stage of growth in between grow session

Today I created a VENT DOOR 🚪 with Velcro and Aluminum Autoshade Panels so I can regulate heat and humidity and airflow.

It has the ability to be open and closed with Velcro.

Right now I have just 1 door/flap open. Which still allows the fan to pull in cool air from the sides, but keeps the humidity from escaping faster.

I tried having 2 open but that made it too dry and also increased my own room humidity and heat a little too much.

BUT, in the future I'll have the option to keep the vents closed, when trying to germinate and maintain 80/80 in the SuperGrow Window 🪟 🪴 😎

Where does your fresh air come in and come out?

I have some fresh air coming into my own room from a vent hole on the wall 🧱 which I have a circulating fan in front of, plus i have a bathroom vent which goes to the rooftop, which helps expell CO2 very well.

In Addition the SuperGrow Window 🪟 is cracked a bit to let in a tiny amount of fresh air into the space.

My own room is usually 67-71 degrees most of the time, don't need to run a heater for my own personal space.

So my apartment is essentially the lung room for the window.

DAY 40 💜💜💜☮️💚👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I gave Susie some fertilizer 🌱

1 cup of Distilled Water

DAY 42... CONTINUED

Gave Susie Q 🎶 🌱 💜 some water , just about a cup
seem you will never get it ...

overwatering isn't necessarely watering with too much water, that could be oki if you let it dry enough afterward, overwatering could be watering too often with small amount of water maintening the soil permanently too moist ...

with small plant in larger pots i usually wait 5-8 days between watering not just 2 days ....

you're not using the right amount and frequencies for watering
...

how many cup does it take to saturate the pot till a little run off (you should know that from first watering),
then take that amount of water cut by half and water every 5-8 days depending how fast the top soil layer is drying. wait until it's fully dry and much lighter color for a days or two before watering.

Well she's drinking a lot of water, the soil is literally dry out every 2 to 3 days.

With the way that I'm currently watering.

My LED lights are at 60% now so they are running hot, plus I added the heat mat.

I've been checking before I water.
It was dry every time the last few weeks.

I think though she's big enough for me to water with two cups now and then wait three or four days to see if she'll need water again.

On my last grow when my plants got big I was able to drench the entire 3 gallon pot, but even then it would dry out every 3-4 days towards the end with 100% LED and late flower 🌼

Allsoo destilled water i guess storebought is like ro water and that will only steal nutrients from your soil. Same as if you drank it you would die.and if i remember correct destiled water is ph10?
She is not drinking the room is 60% rh it is evaporating the top layer

You can buy those steel rods you put in soil and it shows you how wet it is

My plant isn't showing any new signs of stress right now, she's only looking better each day, her flowers are starting to sparkle with trichomes. ✨🌟🪴

yeah larger amount of water less often ...

and yeah larger plant related to pot size need to be watered with fully saturating the soil even more often.
All right then, I'll switch to two cups of water. 🤓

I'm not using distilled water anymore, that was just to get it started.

I like to start with really clean water.

I have switched to my PUR Water Filter on my faucet.

We have pretty good water in San Francisco and the PUR filter does a pretty good job of getting rid of chlorine and such.

Not as good as reverse osmosis water but that's okay because we don't have high TDS in the tap water thankfully 🙏🏼
