10" net pots

I would appreciate clarification on the net pot issue. Does dd's use 10" net pots? Do some mpb farmers NOT use net pots, and put the rockwool cubes right into the hydroton, into the buckets, wilthout a net pot? I think I've read posts where some do, and some don't.

Some do some don't. I use the netpot lids myself. DD's does not from what I remember, but who knows if he has given them a run in the past. I personally like my netpot lids as I veg in 5 gallon buckets.

I don't think he does either or maybe he uses 8" (might be getting confused with UC though). Wait does he use something like 3 gallons, with drilled out bottoms? With all the different variations it's a little hard remembering what the original plans were! :rofl

I think his design is 3 or 3.5 gallon buckets drilled out. The 10 inch netpots are fairly new, like I just started seeing them about 4-5 months ago. Before then all I could get were the 8 inch..
