Hi! Its my first attempt to grow plants. I have not even succeed keeping a houseplant alive more than a week, so my starting point is not promising.
You’ve already got the most important piece of equipment! A sense of humor! Welcome!Hi! Its my first attempt to grow plants. I have not even succeed keeping a houseplant alive more than a week, so my starting point is not promising.
welcome brother,Welcome to the Farm! Have a great time growing, it’s hella fun! Have you figured out what method of growing you’re going to use? Do you have equipment? : )
Always remember less is more when growing. That goes for nutrients, water, light, etc. Watering takes some time to figure out, best way for me to learn was weighing the container before watering, weigh the container after watering and wait until you get back to the first weight before watering again. After some time you’ll be able to pick up the container and know if it needs watered. I’m of the opinion that auto flowers are more difficult, less time for the plants to recover from my mistakes. But grow with what you got. For that tent grow one plant at a time, it’ll make your life easier. Ask questions on here, but don’t blindly take advice, fact check before taking an action. If you are using bottled nutrients start with 1/4 of what the schedule says and work up, don’t feed every watering.Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! :)
Gear and strainwise, I have a small 24"x24" tent and the SF1000 lamp from the Spider Farmer. The first strain I was panning on trying is Easy Bud because I read it should be one of the easiest autoflowers.
May sound weird, but my goal is not even to get to use lots of the product. Most of all for me, growing is a skill I just want to learn.
Likewise, I also dabble in distilling and brewing even though I don't even consume much alcohol. I just wanted to learn those skills. :D
