deacon, they won't let me send u a private message, but I need an undercurrent system. I couldn't find any shop in Michigan that sells them. I've been on this site for a long time, just not very talkative, because I do more reading and learning. I'm a caregiver for 3 patients and definitely want to get the undercurrent as soon as possible. I'm in the tri cities, but I would definitely make the drive.

First off let me say this was a real cool thread and grow. Secondly IPlay has not posted since August 1st and I hope all is well with him.

I do have a question about the vertical lights though. They were mounted over the plants and never beside them so it was actually a horizontal grow with the bulbs not horizontal. I think this just sent the light out the sides of the bulbs out across the room over top of the plants. IMHO the plants would have received way more light if the bulbs were lower between the plants or the bulbs were horizontal with a reflector. Even without a reflector they would have got at least one whole side of light from the bulb and the other side would bounce off the ceiling and downward.

The way it is now all 360 degrees of the light from the sides of the bulb soots out to the walls over the plants. They are not getting direct light from the bulbs. Maybe a little downward flashlight type action from the tips.

I think better light positioning would result in much more yield.

Am I crazy???

i think that might just be the angle of the picture? the lights im sure where at plant level, the canopy, during the bloom cycle. the point of using vert lighting is so the entire face of the bulb is hitting the plant.

Check out Superior Growers Supply they just setup some systems in their store...
