These plants are in their 11th week. The tics are mostly cloudy.
I know the photos are not that clear..The part of the bud that is sticking out(the 5th photo has the best view of it at the top), .../will that fill in/out?
sorry I cant be more clear about the question...

At 11 weeks you should probably cut down mayn. What strain is it? unless it is VERY sativa, I would say you don't have to push it any further than 11 weeks. Lookin very good.

The ones in the photo are blue venom(1-2), The White (3,5-6), and Fire OG(4). There is also Hells Angel, Larry OG, Banana OG...The HA seems to be the furthest along the area I am asking about has filled in, and the trics are 10% amber, but the others had already gone through this and it has started up again..I know its adding weight, and will add more when it fills in(hopefully), but I have never seen them protrude out so far(1/8-1/4"), and never this late into in the grow...

I had a friend look at a small bud I took off. He said it doesn't look ready that it is still filling out, and the trics have no amber(which might be true of the one he saw, but the others are about 10%)..1 to 2 more weeks?!
I had someone tell me not to count the first 2 weeks of bloom. That the plant is stretching, and just starting bud development..How many of you follow this rule?

Just a little side note..off all four of my grows I have always harvested some of the girls to early or to late. It has cost me, and I cant afford another mistake. They're gonna break my legs...

who's gona break your legs??? wtf?

Ummm.....harvest time... not sure what the trichs are up to, but those are over-grown Indicas...ripe & ready. Ya know, buds DO degrade if left on the plant too long.

well i noticed that if you pull your harvest when the
crystal are milky the buzz you get is a floaty head high
good for social times
but when you wait till they're amber
the buz is a solid stone
mute , body stoned and you get tired
if you leave it way too long
the thc decreases but the CBD-CBN
get higher
and thats what makes you body stoned and tired
so really its up to you for what type of buzz you want and
i usually start counting my 12/12 weeks when all the plants get pistils
when the last 1 turns then thats week 1
but i harvest at week 9
what i do is i turn the lights off for the last 2 weeks
this way it switches to survival mode and fills itself with crystal sugar love

so your telling me that for two weeks they dont get any light at all ???? that has to hurt the yield dramatically , i know for mine the last two weeks is when they harden and swell up to monsters !

well , all in all bro
each to there own
im just taking my notes from arjan and franco
they say it works even harder to survive meaning it produces more crystal
covering everything on the plant with sugar
even the fan leaves and stalk so this is where quality comes into play other then quantity
you'll still yield alot but over all it'll be more quality over quantity

I am growing a sativa dominant plant and have done a lot of reading on it. One of the things I read is that on sativa dominant plants looking for trics turning brown doesn't work. On many sativas the only 10-20% will ever turn brown, and on some strains no trics will ever turn brown. I am a new grower, but I know I read this somewhere. I would say since it is sativa don't go by brown trics because they won't necessarily ever turn brown.
