I've setup my first hydroponic system in quite some time and need some help figuring some things out or how to improve my setup. I currently have added nutrients once about 12 days ago, (using Lotus nutrients) add hydrogen peroxide daily, and also run a UV light in the reservoir 24/7, and try and keep my PH around 6.5.
.) I tried to setup an aeroponic setup but realized that the nozzles clog up quickly so then I added a 1/4 line at the top now. Its not dripping but just an open line. Is this an ok way?
.) Do I need an air stone in this type of setup?
.) My water temperature is ~78. I've read that higher temps don't hold o2 but if I'm doing a drip like this, where should my water temp be? I've read that around 70 is good so should I get an aquarium chiller?
.) My PPM is ~450 and has stayed there since I added nutrients to it about 12 days ago. I have a reverse osmosis system that I add water from (comes out at 0 ppm). When should I add nutrients again, when the PPM drops? Also, should I get the old water out and replace it with new water?
