Hey there! Thought I would document my grow on here to receive feedback as well as share my progress with anyone who's interested. I'm wanting to grow my pot as organic and natural and possible, let me give you the run down on what I've got so far.
•I'm growing in East TX, right now my temps are high 90's but come July & August, being in triple digits is a norm
•The seed strains I ordered are Magnum Autoflower Feminized & got 2 free Northern Lights Auto Feminized, these should arrive by June 9th and I will immediately start germination by cup of water & paper towel method. I'm planning on germinating 2 of the Magnum & 1 Northern lights & saving the others for September planting when the Temps are more ideal.
• These are the materials I have to get started:
1. 5 gallon fabric grow bags, black
2. Happy Frog potting soil
3. Coco Noir, already rinsed
4. Peat Moss & Perlite, if needed
5. Worm Castings
6. Ph paper strips
7. Dyna-Gro GROW & BLOOM
8. Wire for LST
I've read up so much on this and feel prepared but with it being my first grow, I know mistakes are going to be made. There are some other things I would like but I'm not sure if they are needed, please lmk your thoughts on these items:
•dolomite lime?
•a probe ph & moisture meter?
•watering globes
also, since I want to use as little money as possible and want it to be as natural as possible, should I invest in a ph up & ph down? I was planning on using lemon juice & baking soda for these reasons but I'm unsure if they will do the trick. From what I've read, the growing mediums I'm using are already in the safe range for growing and I've tested my tap water and it's between 6 and 7
----------
ONE MORE THING! Since I will be growing in high temps and watering more often, do I fertilize more or less?
I'm so excited to receive my seeds and start posting pics and progress!! So much love to you all
