It's terpy talk time.

Vibrancies of smells from the aroma from around the bud smelling reminiscent of WW while growing, but left over smells of berry~ and ripened fruit remain, the bud lights up in fresh smells of fruitiness right away but deeper smells contain a provoking texture to add to the palette further yet found on the plant.
I've got a once occurring smell of Listerine/astringent smell it was sharp and distinct from other scents.

The stalk and the leaf stems contain a vibrant pine smell with variety?

it's standing smell can be intoxicating...

It's been a treat to smell as they have transitioned over the grow. .
...

I'm so novice, that when I was asked how big it would get as a little spring plant, I put my back to the wall with my arms wide open bragging... Now... It is doing that and more.

Maybe a pheno observation?
the lines coming off the main stem, if they branch off into an irregular y formation and get real long, I've noticed this plant twists and peals away. I've had multiple breakage from one side of the plant or another... Nothing deterring it from growing. Maybe this is caused by how it's been pruned.
What I thought may not be strong with the rest after such breakage has actually stayed healthy.

its peaking through the top though almost uniformly.
Maybe diligence on the bugs before flowers.. strung on a budget though so I couldn't be happier with the situation.

Was also pollination day... pollinated clones away from mom...

I've had 3 sets of pollen collected for a few years. what I'm possibly thinking is:
faint hint of white widow from few years back.
critical ~something(lots of pink on the hairs of the females outdoor), from a large bag seed population 100seeds 90%female this one was the best ... something like that...
Another bag seed that I salvaged male pollen off of...
I didn't know then and don't know now about the qualities to look for. but I saved pollen from plants I was impressed by maybe some leaf deformity or totally wrong about strains, but the plants i've had that ended up male were plants I adored while growing anyway. I dont think i'd save a runt plant. I expect to see big variety from any seeds. Looking for a plant that I like that flowers well up in the 49/50 either handles cold nights for a long while through flower, or flowers fast, or takes well to light dep(next years experiment)
120days goes by fast, grow seasons winding down and I just see so more time needed..
it's flower day puts it oct17-+25

buds beginning to stack.

caring for the plant to keep water from pooling on leaves and buds. must be a couple holes in the roof O_o..

Concerned about molds and rot, weather like this keeps me on my toes.
Have a good day.

Pretty sure it's mold. Dead aphid bugs and/or physical dmg may incited some of this.
gonna take the nug off and the two sucker branches still showing deficiencies. Kind of think the plant may be spending 'too' much energy repairing or maintaining growth.. just a thought.

Made a mix of flower & micro's and used water bottles upside down with holes in the lid to slowly feed the soil, to reduce the topsoil from being too moist.

IDK I think the plant is stacking pretty good for it's partial shade location.

Further thought on the bad bud may have been caused from pushing through the galvanized cage...

Just pics. idk what to say, skeptical it'll chunk out, but there is a lotta hashable material.
3week pruning? I don't think I will prune I maybe want as much sugars available vs the potential extra light? it's already shaded so it's not the ideal location to gain from pruning... with this plant, this year, and this location, maybe another time.

intoxicating smell if you like the berry fruit complex. The maturity of terpenes throughout this plants growth has been a fascination to witness. I'm sure lots of people share this with many other plants, it's beautiful.
Not oozing resins in it's 4th week, but producing. early finisher I guess the resin will come last.

got to do a couple macro shots nothing impressive, just dig the macro.

- next year much more preventative, bug spray could still be used -_-
Soaps are all that's available around here. I still see residue from it on the stalk of the plant from earlier in the season.
I hit the plant again today stalks only. what a nuisance. I expected it though, not surprised.

I have introduced a couple dozen lady bugs hand picked over the last couple weeks... not enough lol..

Home stretch. Going Down this week.
Been with frost for a while now, pulled the garden clones outta the weather had a 1/2 of snow on it one day and still rocked out. Phenos of purples and blues were beautiful to look at, ignoring the plant dmg from the weather. Noticed when trimming them the inner stock of the outdoor plants going bad (dark greens, yellows browns, loss of strength in the bud)
power drying it hoping to reduce the cellular degradation (hypothesis)...

main plant:
The purple has just started expressing itself on the tips of the sugar leaf in the last couple days.

Heaters been on 24/7, only thing to get afternoons warm enough.

<3 will be back with some trim shots sometime (next week? idk)

Anticipated cutting the crop by this date, but looking under the scope I think I'm waiting. for week 8 to show.
outdoor stuff seems to have a kick, but it was early and not ready ect..

Hit that like button if you think I should wait around a week.
Thank you kindly.

Peace
