Few updates shots from the outdoor garden. Things are flowering nicely, hoping the weather holds out this year as these ladies have a ways to go! I am already dreading trimming season

Couple fresh garden shots. It doesn’t do a great job of showing how much work is required to maintain this. Next year fewer larger and more automation !

Plants look great! I love that your working with your own seeds. I’ve had really good luck with Guerrilla Gold crosses here in the Northeast. It seems everything I cross to her finishes a week or two earlier. Curious why you don’t plant directly in the ground?

Never know how the season will end and if these will have to be move undercover. Last year it saved my entire crop being able to move them and avoid the frost and wet weather.

So I have about 60% cut and drying in one fashion or another. Out of the 40% left, about 10-20% of it is salvageable but loads have been taken out by rot. I won’t be able to make it back to the forest garden till next week so we will see if anything survives.

Here’s a poor example of a couple trim lines. That’s about 25% of what’s hanging.... some will be wet trim and some will be dry trim this year.....

I’m having similar mold/rot issues myself. I need to decide whether to harvest or keep trimming bits off

Did you pull the plug? I could have waited another 3 weeks easy, but if I hadn’t started harvesting I would have lost most of this years crop

I have exactly the opposite problem...RH here (Nevada) is about 10%..No mold, but drying a larger crop in my garage would be a problem, so I will flash freeze most of the outdoor crop, later to be hash and then Rosin Pressed. I may "bud wash" a few colas and bring them inside for proper drying and curing (2 humidifiers are needed in a closet to get the RH to 50%!). Can't afford to bring anything unwanted into the house where the indoor plants live.
I only have 3 plants in pots outdoors, but trimming them will take quite some time.

Yeah I chopped one this week and the other will get chopped this weekend but it’s pretty devastated by rot/cats so I don’t know if I even want to try. One word of advice...don’t grow LA Confidential outdoors in New England lol

The Jamaican all finished up. Looks and tastes pretty amazing considering it was cut early. Happy with the results, dry it’s around a full. I lost at least half the plant to rot, luckily I did seed about a third and have managed to maintain the genetics in its purity, and it has now finished its first season outside on this climate. I believe that plants can adjust pretty quickly and I suspect it will become more resilient every year it finishes and produces seeds. Just my thoughts

Hot damn..is that the ole Jamaican HAHAH pot? I really miss that stuff..LOL

Finally finished chopping the 1st outdoor mystery (Bonza Green Crack I think)..weather going downhill, and still have 2 more to go..Check out the water in the 5 gallon pails after a bud washing..color and aroma are amazing..
(most went into the freezer for fresh frozen and later to be rosin pressed..took 2 bigly colas to dry indoors..(will compare it to her clone that I grew indoors..After seeing what came off the buds..gonna wash the next indoor crop too..
