This one is actually pretty fragrant and fruity in spell. I think she's going to press well and taste divine. I'll be sure to update with final aromas and terpene profile.

It’s tough every time brother I even bought fancy new shears that’ll only be used for main stalks on chop day like a ritual or right of passage for the plant

I like that idea lol. The ceremonial chopping is among us

I have one out of 11clones flowering from same strain seed, their ended up being a purple one in there! it tripped me out my first run. when i took clones I thought i lost it! and then a couple weeks or so ago I so one of them in my current run starting to turn!!!! super excited to get this one to “full finish” as my first run came down early do to pests.

It's so rewarding when you get to the end and everything is properly dried and cured. Glad you were able to find that purple one. It's always trippy watching them shift colors.

Yeah it’s not too common for most, but that means you’d be a great competitor!

Well, it’s more for a fun event, kinda honor system, kinda a team grow as everyone was checkin out eachothers progress etc

Once the entries are approved no more can join, I’d imagine the best way to judge so it’s independent would be to put up a poll of all members after harvest for best appearance, structure or whatever we decide to make each category, only those in the contest can vote, and you can’t vote for yourself.

There would be 2 topics one to post updates only (timed updates like you have to post an update (picture obviously) on this day etc) and the other is an open chat topic to discuss anything about our plants or for other to chat about it, was pretty fun last time just to watch so wanted to get another one going to get into as it’s been awhile

End of the day it’s all fun and games, and all those in the contest start at the same time so we all start at the same spot in our grows as we progress, no real reason for any of us to lie about the grow, some will go great some won’t, but that’s how it goes!

Could even set a time limit from sprout to flip, (like must flip to 12/12 25 days after sprout etc,

initially i was planning on starting my plants with 1 gallon containers and eventually intended to move to 5 gal buckets but given what i have been able to experience it's safe to say that i would have needed to upgrade my equipment significantly. i would have had to apportion a much larger space to accommodate the size of the final plants.

my initial intent was to have something of decent size but still be moveable in order to supplement the light cycle with artificial light while giving the plants full daylight thus expanding the daylight hrs.

given what i've seen from the last and this grow, it would have been serious overkill as to quantity as i don't need more than several ounces a year. at this point i am at another location where the area i have available is limited. seeing how things have gone the 1 gal containers would be capable of producing plenty of bud for me. i am considering moving up to 2 gal containers but haven't decided yet.

i think the idea is cool but looking at the requirements it was out of bounds for me but it's not a great issue for me. personally i'm not all that interested in the competition but like the chance for those who contend the chance to show their stuff. that's cool as hell.

i'm more loose and kinda fly by the seat of my pants to see what happens kinda person. i'm real short of structuring and half the time i think i'm not quite sure what i'm even doing.

Here it is today. Revegged 3 times. Finally back to 5 blades.

If I were to follow the challenge guidelines it should flip soon I think. Maybe Monday? Only thing is that now I have a bunch of clones in the tent also that I just transplanted. What to do? Hmmmm.....

One possibility, keeping in mind what @Mikedin said about a partial wall, might be one of those emergency blankets. The shiny ones. You can probably find one at Walmart for like $5 and should be about the size you'd want. I considered that instead of using my tent floor.

I was wondering why castings are being thrown in late in flowering?

I know this was posted awhile ago but I just ran across it. In short, flavor! I love the taste of rich humic soil in my weed. I get that with EWC. It does make a difference IME.

Man you better hurry up and buy your press you got rosin on the brain son, if I didn’t have a mountain of shit in way I would press some flower and make a little video for you. I’ve never tried to do fresh frozen, I was under the impression that I’d need a special freezer to remove the moisture from the flower. Now I’m curious.
