Ass chewed? Nahhhhh, just making space for myself and my view on things. I can express myself, just like everyone else here. My voice seems to irrate some, which I have no problem with. I don't desire to be liked by everyone. Still talking to you, you're good in my book. 😁

That's how I like my dogs too, onions and yellow mustard. Homemade hotdog chili sauce is a bonus. Preferably in a cast iron.

I'm good. Getting super cold here at night. Waiting on a tad more amber. Thinking Sunday, if not, definitely sometime next week, maybe. 🙃🥴🤪

Have a little more faith in me. I'm as tough as I as stubborn. I'll post my final results. Give you a weight too. The hurry up and wait will drive you mad if you let it.

Took the rest of my garden down. Made pickled green tomatoes today.

The only thing pickled I’ve ever had is pickles! I have a peach tree! Freestone! Tried hot water bath canning back when the old lady was alive! Made such a god-awful mess Was told in no uncertain terms to buy canned peaches! L O L! Pretty much, my brief foray into canning! Glad you’re doing well and pickle away!

Canning can be messy. Gotta have funnels and stay on top of the mess. Makes me appreciate what everyone did before me. My grandma did it all by herself and had 9 children at home. I feel bad complaining about it because of that. I have learned to freeze my tomatoes during growing season and can all at once at the end. Makes life a little easier. I have a pressure canner, but water bath most of what I can. I don't can meat. Doesn't look appealing to me.

I make what is called refrigerator pickles (anything I pickle). Love spicy okra pickled too. Water bath or pressure canning removes that crispness.

Just used my last jar of peaches for a cobbler. I didn't buy any this year because I planted peach trees I grew from seed. Love that about stone fruit. Hopefully, in a couple years, I have a ton of peaches. I'm going to miss opening a can in the winter for sure. Made applebutter instead.

Yeah, when I finally realize I didn’t trust my canning abilities enough to eat anything I canned, I gave my pressure canner away! An old beater with Bakelite handles! Lol! Gave it to a buddy of mine, who uses it to grow shrooms! I’m just too lazy to be a canner! Well, the dogs are chomping at the bit to go look at the girls! Take them out back and come back and take a nap! and here’s the mail lady! Got my AirPod second generation pros! My nephew said they were fantastic! Plus, you can use them as a hearing aid! Ha, ha, ha ha! Take it easy!

Took my other 2 big plants yesterday. Didnt get many pictures as theres a lot to do. Will weigh once dried. Have 3 more that id like to go longer, but frost is coming Tuesday. Not sure what to do. Ill either cover them or pull them before the freeze comes.

Again, thanks to everyone that helped me this season get to this point.

No, the one that was burnt up, I killed about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Couldn't stand to look at it anymore. The last 2 bigs didn't get burnt like the other one. They were in different soil. Lesson learned. I am switching to promix for future grows. Removing FF completely out of my grows, including nutes.

Yeah, happy with the littles. Just wish they'd hurry up some. I'm going to probably cover them. Forecast has changed now, 2 nights of freezing temps. Have to make a decision by Tuesday evening on what I'm doing with them.

I also changed their feedings for the final few feedings for all of them and removed all the nitro. Focused more on P & K.
good to print this out as a poster and put up where you mix your food,.

notice how much calmag is important,. they need all nutrients till the end just some more than others,. especially outdoors,..
when weather gets to 55 and less for a few days that pretty much stops production and the plant just sits, most species of plant life actually hence fall colours, the plants show those colours because certain nutrients aren’t available or it’s too cold to uptake,. if the bud itself has colours than it’s more than likely genetics due to anthocyanins,..

They have received calmag every feeding. I never cut that. I just meant, I focused more on P & K and removed the N. Wasn't 100% removed, but they certainly weren't getting as much as they had gotten. I didn't up the calmag though. Maybe could have. Just didn't want to burn the plants. Tiger bloom is 284, so they had some nitro. Error in previous post saying completely removed all nitro.*

I have this saved. I'll print before next year, but it is a bit confusing, as there are no amounts suggested. Just a graph showing higher and lower for each nute.

When you say stops production, do you mean even with ripening trichomes? My temps are getting into the 60-70s still during daytime (most days), just significantly dropping at night. I am not concerned much with the buds packing on more weight, would just like a little more cloud and amber on my trichs.

The bed these 3 are in only gets morning sun now, since the sun has dropped in the sky. I'm sure that is also delaying them some.

Haven't been above 60 last 2 days. Rained all morning. Freezing temps the next 2 evenings. I don't want to purchase a frost cloth. It would need to be huge to cover the bed. These guys have had minimal bug damage and haven't gotten any diseases, thankfully. Started spraying them (whey, then moved to h2o2 & citric) before anything happened to them.

Looking under my loupe, but not using the stupid LED light attached to it, these are ready. I see all cloudy and some amber on my buds.

* Note for anyone unaware, the LED lights used on some of the loupes and handheld microscopes will make your trichomes appear clear when they, in fact, are not clear. USE sunlight or shine a different type of light on them to double check.

Pretty fucking proud of myself. This being my first real grow and OUTDOORS, where everything can be 100xs more complicated.

I know the real celebration begins when curing is complete, but I am still very proud of myself.

Thanks again for all the help, time, and energy each of you shared with me. It is greatly appreciated.

Very nice. Should def be proud. Dont ever throw in the towel until your last bud is dead or harvested lol. You should see the dankness Rama pulled from his "first failed grow" 🤣 🤣

Bravo. Those buds look *very* tasty

Maybe im a weirdo, but i almost always tend to prefer the buds that didnt color when im smoking the outdoor flowers too. Id be very happy with buds like that in the jar.

I just cut my last two plants today, not dealing with the 5 days of coming frost with 2 plants that far along lol.

God damn it lol.

Just saw the date on this and thought it was weird to be starting outside this time of year, but I posted like an idiot anyways lmao.

Sorry dude.

Looks good though!

They can take a little bit of cold weather when they’ve been raised outside in my experience!

✌🏻

I was going to tell you that you've missed a few chapters. 🥴🙃😁 No worries.

Yes, they've been experiencing a lot of cold. Haven't been worried one bit. It's hitting below freezing tonight though. It also rained all morning and zero sun on the horizon. I like the looks of the trichs now that I've turned the stupid LED light off my loupe.
