revisiting, thus my post here....still thinking about a light source for my grow tent.
I can't source Check Timber COB and Hortibloom products. I have seen HLG Quantum Boards here and Mars.
Any particular product range with these brands?
Heard about VIPARSPECTAR? what are they like?
at this stage, looking to replace the T5 fluorescent light fixtures as the seedlings are about to be juveniles, heading towards full vegetative phase.... Even if the lights is to be a stop-gap measure, while I figure out what lighting (to flower)....
my concerns with HID is its heat buildup, though heat dissipation issue is less during winter grow. initially, my preference was with HID, as I am familiar with 'em - then started to lean towards CMH (315W), then moving away from these ideas towards LED.
i'm old school, and no familiar at all with COB/LED. willing to give it a go!
