I have 2 trays 12ft2. So 24ft2 of grow space and I run 3000watts = 125watts ft2.
CO2 is a waste unless your running 80watts ft2 of light. Good air flow is more important. fresh air with good circulation.
Are u letting your pots almost dry before watering?
bottom line you need more light. 1800 watts is perfect.

A 12x12= 144 sq ft. 144x2= 288sq ft

3000watts÷288sq ft= 10.41watts per sq ft...🤔

Or am I doing this wrong?

Ahhhhhh I see what I did there. Read your numbers wrong. my bad.

You have two 3x4 trays giving you a total of 24sqft & 3000 watts divided by that is 125w per sqft.

you have a 4' x 4' tray = 16ft2. 1800 watts divided by 16 = 112.5 watts per square ft.
You only have 20watts ft2.

Well thanks again for all the advice and tips. First grow a success with 2 plants. Just harvested the last one today. One was finished a few weeks ago. Next time 1 strain “same grow time “. Overall great success. 1/4 lbs dry from the first plant. Second one is easily 3x size. Or more. So estimating a little over 1 lbs dry in a 4x4’ space under 1 - 315w CMH. 2 plants. Tied down.

I have let them go dry quite a bit before watering. Sometimes 5-6 days as I was on the road. I found they keep soil fresh at the top (top 4” of pot) I needed to water every 3-4 days. I have my exhaust fan on 24/7. And two small fans to circulate air within the room. I will have 4 plants same strain for my next grow. Feminized seeds. They are ready to go in tomorrow. I will increase the temp in the room and humidity as best as I can for the veg stage. Dry area to grow. Mold is not a concern. It seems perfect.
