Just finished building my led light and got everything set up. I have 3 wedding cake, 1 Oakland purps from grandiflora genetics, 2 Apple sundae from Canarado, and 3 Optimus prime(OG Kush x bubba kush c GDP). I am trying coco out again this round, normally I grow in rockwool. New nutrients as well so hopefully everything goes well!

Whats your led setup? What did it cost to build? Where did you source you parts? Looking to possibly do the same. Good luck with the grow! Looks like your off to a good start
R Atreum 4ft bars and 2 qb 288’s r spec, total of 720w full power and fun off of 2 drivers. It probably cost me $850-900 with everything factored in(including the Chinese goods tax if you’re in the us). I did it mostly because I do not care how good it looks as long as it performs, and it’s the best way to learn imo. In the future I will probably just buy a pre built fixture unless I want a custom spectrum(which I’m adding to my light later). I am very interested to see how well it performs!

A little update. I topped the Oakland purp(blue marker) and I have this interesting browning going on to one of my plants. I am thinking my heater was a bit too close and fried a leaf or two? It is not in a light hotspot and everything else looks good which makes me curious. The 3 wedding Cale that we’re droopy are a bit better. I read up on how to water coco and started saturating the coco more and they are looking better!

Threw up a scrog net to try to even out this canopy! The Oakland purps is growing much faster than the rest so I have already topped it twice and everything else I have topped once by now. Also got roots out of the bottom of the pot in 5 days from transplant so thankfully the transplant didn't stunt it too much

Day 14 of veg in this tent and things are coming along pretty well. 2 more weeks of veg max and we will flip into flower. The Oakland purps is definitely the faster grower out of the strains. I have topped once and suppercropped every branch at least once by this point. The Wedding cake has also caught up a bit and it looks like the healthiest strain at this point!

Last picture before flipping into flower. Would like a bit more time but the Oakland purp is growing out of control so I figured why not. Going to flip within the next couple of days and see how it goes. Oakland Purp definitely won the veg race but let’s see if the vigor keeps up. The Wedding cake started behind and 2 of the 3 have passed the rest of the strains which is good to see. Hopefully she doesn’t stretch too much

Day 1 of bloom finally here and ladies are already starting to pray. I am going to use green sensation by plagron as my bloom booster mainly because I have a free bottle of it and I’ve heard great things about it so why not. I will start to add it in week 2 probably and see how well it works. I am also slowly ramping up my light intensity. It’s sitting in the high 400 to low 500’s right now and I will keep ramping up slowly

Day 8 and ladies are loving the nutes and new light! All 4 strains are looking really good. Put up a second trellis for support and to bend a bit more, the 2 Oakland purps are growing significantly bigger than anything else. Started my bloom booster the 1st day of the second week! Let’s see how the next couple of weeks go

Day 16 and the girls are still loving everything. I turned the light up a couple days ago and thinned our the canopy today because it was becoming too bushy and leafy. I have up on an even canopy this time because 2 of these strains stretch and love to grow and the other 2 are the exact opposite of course. They are low, slow growing traditional indica’s. Thankfully this light is pretty even in light distribution so it has not been too much of a pain.

End of week 5 here and everything looking good! I thought the wedding cake would have filled out more by now but other than that can’t complain. A little nute burn on the front Oakland purp, probably pushed it a tad too hard but now I know for next run

Starting the flush today! Looks like the Apple sundae, Oakland Purp, and Optimus prime are all going to finish in 56 days and the wedding cake looks like it’s going to go roughly 9. Pleased how well all of these strains came out this time. The Oakland purp in the first couple of pictures looks amazing and has a gelato funk with some sweetness at the end. Although the wedding cake is taking longer it looks amazing! Some of the biggest buds and completely coated! Picture 3 and 4 is the wedding cake

Last day before I chop the Oakland Purp and Optimus prime! They both look and smell amazing it’s going to be a pleasure when I have to trim them. First 3 pictures are the Oakland purp and the last 3 are the Optimus Prime!
