53 Years Ago Today...

Hard To Believe: This might make you feel old. It was 53 years ago today that ABC TV aired the final episode of "Leave It To Beaver." I grew up watching the Cleavers so I took it hard when the show was cancelled.
We had a Beaver club.
Everyone would cut class in high skool and watch the beaver at my house and get baked...

53 years ago we had ABC, CBS and NBC for local programming. Shows like Father Knows Best, American Bandstand, The McCoys, Make Room For Daddy, I Love Lucy. They were great to watch when you were stoned. Must add reruns of Laurel and Hardy, The Bowery Boys, The Three Stooges, The Jack Benny Show and Jackie Gleason Just to name a few.

The untouchables was great but the Honeymooners were the best...
