Hey fam I’m here once again documenting another grow and this one is a little different than others I’ve done. Not really showing my full potential as a grower but im using this as a learning experience. This grow was rushed and hastily put together. I also burned the hell out my my plants with an IPM solution I made but they are finally bouncing back. I haven’t really defoliated or cleaned them up bc they were not in good health for awhile but I’m glad I had some plants to throw in there right away.

Flipped to flower Monday so we are almost at the end of the first week. These plants are pretty big I mostly just super cropped the top which diverted hormones to the side branches.

I’m running a drip system as well a have 4 half gallon drippers per pot. This is new for me as I’ve only hand watered.

Strain: Black Banana F2 clones (Solfire gardens)

Nutrients/microbes
-Roots organics terp tea grow/bloom/bloom booster dry amendments
-recharge
-kelp meal
-EWC for the compost teas and top dress
-cal/mag or Epsom salts
-Black strap molasses

The girls are starting to stretch and they are drinking a lot! I’m loving this drip system but I’ve yet to set the timer. I’ve been flipping it manually for different periods of time trying to dial it in and now I’m adjusting for them in flower.

Anyone have experience with drippers? How do you run your schedule for a big plant in flower? Multiple times a day? Gallon or a bit less per day? I just gave them a gallon each and yesterday I was 5 minutes shy of hitting 1 gal.

Video update of what’s going on in the garden. Seemed to have set my timer for my light wrong by an hour so I had to get that back on track. Alright guys I’m going back to resting and recovering from strep!

Video update of some of the issues I’ve been running into including a fungus gnat popular outbreak, underwatering, applying nematodes and others. Learning a lot on this one guys which I’m glad it’s happening now so I can be completely prepared for the following run when I put some premium genetics in the tent. Any tips, advice, questions please feel free.

Hey there fellow farmers here we are finishing week 3 and this run has been pretty stressful. My pump has not been working correctly with the drippers so on top of already struggling to keep them watered my back up system meant to help me was chronically underwatering as well. I’m going to get an RO filter system ASAP! I’ve learned a lot this run and better to dial it in now than when I’m running my premium genetics.

Well guys I honestly wanted to trash this thread just bc of how stressful this grow has been but I wanted to document it even if it failed so here’s a video update! Things are alot better and buds are developing and I will be ready for the next run with my premium genetics.

Well here we are going into the 7nth week and man I’m happy to get this run finished so I can dial in some things and be ready for the slurricane #7 phenohunt. It looks like I was able to save this grow but things were not looking good there for awhile but buds are fattening up and they aren’t dropping leaves left and right like they were before. The overall health has improved and it looks like I’ll be pulling some nice buds off soon!!

Now for my predicament, I’ll be leaving to visit family in Florida In early January for almost a week. The 8th week will be finishing right when I’m leaving to go down there so I’m thinking I’ll push things till I get back and then chop. What you guys think?

The time has finally come and I’m relieved! I almost lost this grow early in flower and I was able to turn things around. It even looks like I’ll be getting a decent yeild so I’m happy. I did no major training besides supercropping the main and tying a couple over. I usually do some defoliation but these plants were struggling and needed every leaf possible. No trimming of the skirts either I just let em grow and by the last day they were hanging all over the place.

I will post yield results when the time comes.

Now it’s time to fine tune this space for the next run which is the slurricane #7 phenohunt! Hopefully all 5 pop but 2 already poked out today.

Hey fam I’ve been busy trimming, planning, and tending to other grows and I wanted to get a total yeild but I won’t be bc I’m already dipping into the smoke and still have more to trim.

I would say tho I yielded 10-12 oz so an average of a couple oz a plant. These plants were massive so these results aren’t the best. I knew yield would suffer but I’m happy to say the quality is pretty dam good for all that went down. It still isn’t my strongest strain but I’m overall happy with it.

Now on to the next grow in this space which will be the slurricane #7 by in house genetics. I’ll be documenting the grow and asking for all of your help picking the best pheno to keep and run for awhile. More on that soon!!!
