Hello all -
My first real plant that I intentionally ever put into soil. It's a little one, autoflower Acapulco Gold strain.
it broke ground on April 15th, so it's 9 weeks old or so... Is it time? or...?

If you wanna eyeball it you can go by the pistols. You want to see most if not all of them dry out and depending on the strain change colors to an orange. If you wanna get serious about it get a jeweler's loop or something with ~40x magnification and inspect the trichomes and shoot for ~20% amber for peak THC. This one looks good, but for sure still a few weeks off from harvest imo.

< also have a 6min vid from a professor with pictures.

I would give lady a good feed and about a month ✌️💨👍

Editing my post. I would give that plant fresh water . Plant is not asking for nutrients ✌️

No wait as long as you can. It probably only been flowering around 5 of those weeks. 3-4 more weeks at least. I just chopped my first harvest at 7 weeks flower because of what I thought was tell tell signs of being ready, but I should have let it go another week or 2. It's decent though, even though a lot of the trichomes were still clear on the actual buds (not the sugar leaves lol).

She is still going yellow on me - this is three days later than the last photos. Being that she is an autoflower, do still probably remove the yellowed fan leaves off?

It pretty close to finished. Don't stress, it looks like a good grow. I've done some acapulco gold and it usually finishes around 7/8 weeks.

Tricomes look mostly cloudy/white, but some close up pics of the buds would help. Compare the clarity of tricomes on the upper buds, to the lower ones. If you are hoping to get some ambering in the tricomes, shorten your light cycle down to 12.

Even though it's an auto, I have repeatedly observed autos amber quicker when I reduce my light on time from 18 to 12 hours. But don't let it amber too much, or it'll mostly make you sleepy. :) You could pull the leaves off if you want, but not needed.

When I estimate I'm gonna pull it in the next 4 days, I'll stop watering all together. I get a better dry that way, but that's just my preference.

I stopped using elastic scrog and went to mono filament line. Those elastic ones fray and stick to the buds. The taste, feel, smell of one strand of that burning when you inhale is pretty harsh. ;)

I ordered a microscope thing for the telephone - I'll get us some better photos sometime tomorrow. I'll just keep the clean water feeding up until the day she's pulled!
Thank you!

I tried to get better photos; well at least closer in. I watered with good ol' tap water quite a bit.
Set the light schedule to 12 on and the other 12, off.

I have no idea how to hold my hands steady enough for this type photography. Going to make some sort of a stand for next batch.

It's not quite time. I didn't see any amber trichomes in the close-ups and some of the buds still have a lot of white hair. Your harvest window is actually about a 14-17 day window so there's no rush here. You still have a couple of weeks before you're even in the window. Take your time, get it right. You'll be glad you did.

Okay - it's been 11 more days - 12 hour on for last 2 weeks or so - plain ol' water only; no nutes... now am I close? She wobbles when I water now and seems a bit top heavy! Pretty little Acapulco Auto!

Close, but not yet. Can you post trichome pictures under high magnification? That would be the best way to determine when they are done.
