this is what the real seed company selling mostly landraces says:

Heirloom

Heirloom: This category is for established inbred lines that have undergone generations of intensive selective inbreeding in the West – often known as ‘IBLs’ or ‘heirlooms’. This site uses the term ‘heirloom’ to differentiate these modern cannabis cultigens from authentic landraces.
All of these heirlooms are ‘sinsemilla cultivars’ that were created in the West by applying modern methods of individual plant selection to cannabis landraces, resulting in higher THC levels than would be normal for most landraces.

Anyone have any experience with Hyp3rids? They have some really interesting thing going on…I’m tempted, but have more than what I need for this year already.

Same strain both grown from seed at the same time transplanted together. Look completely different.

So are you just against all the science nd pulling at the genes to enhance certain things

I wasn’t born until 1999 so could only imagine the difference in quality from when you last smoked,

I notice a difference from weed 3 year ago to now nd I’d love to know how much of it is environmental how much is genetics nd how much is it been altered to have certain traits,

Trying to find some cheese or even stuff like amnesia nd stuff these days is rare everyone’s aparrently got the next big thing

Assuming u still grow or know a lot about it, what’s some plant characteristics in veg do you look for tht to you would determine a good phyno?
The stem rub doesn't lie. I recomend finding something that blows you out of the water, then familiarize yourself with her traits. For me, I love gassy weed. It has to be REAL dank, not the ""gas"" that these dispos try to sell you. Gas and fuel profiles are not on the terpene wheel, they are flavorants that are not tested for in nearly any industry. So...good luck finding it is what I tell most folks.

I geek about anything from The Menthol volumes. It is THE dank smell and taste I remember grabbing in deep south prohibition states for years. I have found that this real dank tends to come off as minty fresh in veg. Also, for the flavorants canna-sulfurs play a huge role in the profiles I like...so feed accordingly for dripping trichome heads.

Left plant leans towards Bubba Kush
Right plant looks more stretchy like Panama Red, but with the fatter Kush leaves 🤘🏼
Very cool!!

I bought BCGA killer queen of HS late 90s .. first release really small seeds .

mother was airbornes G13x BG c99. .. fathers were selected from 50 .. some were extremely resionous .. delibratelty exposed to uv b light from memory.

I got 9 females .. grew and tasted all .. most all were the same in looks one was very differant in appearance .. and not in a good way as the leaf to caylix was not great .. lots more leaf to trim.. but the potancy was crazy high ..soaring high to couching you out for hours .. others were similar but nowhere near as good .. I gave this cut to friend i knew .. and moved on .. grew out lots of big names over the next decade and a half and that girl saw them all off ..every one .. just to good .. many years later I hooked up with that friend .. and asked .. he said the same couldnt replace her with any .

spoke briefly to a grower named subcool i think on killer queen as in a bunch of girls he had that that same pheno
