A questions on trichs to relation of genetics.

So I’m at work the other thinking to my self about this photo and the post/Information and god darn it my brain gets kicking so, lol so some odd ball questions pop in my mind. First if you can control what type of high is produced by trichs where does the actual genetics of being indicia or sativa matter such as could you like grow a sativa gen and mature it too a point of amber trichs so it’s like a “”indicia high? And second by thinking I feel I’m also missing a small point of since the genetics are say a hybrid 50/50 than your suppose to aim for that 50/50 trich and same forth with 90/10 or what have you?

Indica and sativa have different chemicals in the trichomes. You can't really harvest an indica and have it give you a sativa high just by harvesting early. What you'd get would be a grassy tasting bud that wouldn't give you a buzz and give a headache instead. The same for sativa, harvesting when the trichomes on a sativa are all amber won't give you a couch lock indica high.
