Hey, I’m new here, sorry if I’m posting in the wrong section, but I’m having issues with the AC Infinity T3 humidifier..

Does this thing just suck or is there a learning curve?

I filled it about 75% of the way, walked away for about 5 minutes and came back to 3 litres of water on my floor.

I finally got it to stop hemorrhaging water by keeping the water level low and keeping it constantly running.

But, now it will randomly stop and I need to lift the reservoir to ”reset” it and get it going again. I fell asleep with it on low and woke up to a tray full of water. Thankfully the top of the tray I put under it doesn’t come up as high as the cable ports or else it would have drowned itself!

It’s Gen 2. I’ve read the first one was even more problematic, somehow..

Any issues I’ve had with my other AC Infinity gear has come down to user error, so I want to rule that out before returning this…

But if it’s not user error, this is such an inferior product I’m rethinking my brand loyalty. For AC Infinity to slack off on the design of this piece of equipment seems downright negligent.

I was running a $5 Temu humidifier before this with less of a headache..

I use one of those, and have not had issues. If you recently purchased it, look into a return/exchange.

I have one and I am really happy with it. I have seen some posts about the leaks.... On the bottom of the water tank there is a filter cartridge/screen with a kind of spring loaded plunger type deal. If that is not seated correctly or if there is any crap preventing a good seal, people are saying it just dumps all of the water out. Might be worth taking a look at that first?

I did take a look but didn’t see anything that could be preventing it from seating correctly. Also the issue I’m having where it will stop producing any vapour if it isn’t set to ON all the time is equally bad. Even if I get the leaking fixed, I won’t be able to run it in auto or cycle, which almost defeats the whole purpose for me.

But thank you! If the replacement just leaks, its good to know it may be solvable.
