The plants roots grow through the soil & not around it. There's no root wrap or winding around the pot between the plastic and the soil.....When I remove my plants from fabric pots there are no roots, they're all in the dirt...that has to be better than plastic. I've busted open root balls from big plants that have been in 5 gallon plastic pots and there are no roots in the centre mass, they're all hugging the outside of the dirt....Its just tricky transplanting out of them.

First pic is plastic and second pic is fabric… clearly seen how much more beneficial fabric are

Wow, them are some roots.....It looks like you get frost on the tops and the bottoms with those girls. I've not had roots like that in any fab pot...There you go AquaMan knows his stuff, with roots like that your plants would thrive and could out grow your room if not careful.

Not really, they should dry quicker than that. In regular temperatures ( around 80f ) I want my 5 gallon pots to dry in 5 days, right now in the heat of summer 86f they're drying in fabric pots 3-4 days.......in my 3 gal fab pots I'm only getting 2.5 days between water / feed. I'd suggest getting the temperature up some to help. With a water - feed cycle you'll only get to feed once every 20 days with slow drying soil & low temps, Hard on the roots too to be damp so long I'd think....

Hey bro @Aqua Man has given you some really solid advice here! I just want to add in what I saw reading through the thread that was missed. Your temps are REALLY low!

You want to be in the 74f - 86f range and this is why I run my SF4000 @ 100% even during seedling phase. There are two easy ways to reduce your PPFD/light intensity:

  1. dim your light
  2. increase the distance from light to canopy
If you use #2 you can still run your light at a higher intensity to benefit from the heat if needed 🤙

well there not really i can do about the temp at the moment its in my bedroom and right beside it is a tent with some drying so i have to keep the room cool so im stuck there
i just got the se3000 today i hung it using the height in the manual i can raise it if i must but the manual says 8 to 12 in in veg i got it at 12 so should i raise it ?

Bar style doesn't run as hot or have the same "hot spots" as the SF4000/quantum board style so you should be okay at the recommended height/intensity but do what you can to get your tent temperatures up otherwise growth will be stalled
